THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME THE
OPPORTUNITY TO BE INTERVIEWED FOR
THE RESEARCH ANALYST POSITION. To give
you a brief introduction of myself. I graduated 10
MONTHS ago- with a degree of Business
Administration major in Operation Management at STI
COLLEGE BACOOR. I was a student assistant at our
school for years, which helped me to gain knowledge
in different departments and hone my capabilities as a
communicator. I was able to strengthen my skills
around multi-tasking and time management. During
my on-the-job training, they taught us to collect data
effectively with the use of Microsoft Apps, and other
software. My 6 months experience with SHEIN as a
CSR or handling a non-voice account helps me to
work under pressure since we must answer
customers within 60 mins. My attitude towards my job
was improving incredibly in terms of having a lot of
patience, multi-tasking, empathy, and focus. By
reading the job description of the position I have been
applying for, I believe this company will help me to get
broad experience and contribute my skills in an area I
am passionate about, WHICH IS FINANCE.

What did you like or dislike about your previous
job? To be honest, there wasn't much I disliked about
my last job since the company I've been working with
was actually good at handling their employees.
However, if I had to choose something it would be the
fact that they don't let us work from home. Even if the
ambiance or the environment of the company is good
there are instances in our life that we want to work alone
or in peace.
What is your salary expectation?
Based on my research and experiences, I'm looking for
a salary in the range of 22,000-23,000. I believe that my
skills and experiences are valuable and can contribute
to the success of the company.
What is your greatest strength and greatest weakness?
Pushing myself to get out from my comfort zone is my
biggest weakness. Realizing this as a hindrance to
achieve my specific goals in life I challenge myself to
always take risks and that's probably my strength,
taking a risk and never regret it. Just like my situation
right now, I’m comfortable with my current situation and
I'm afraid my potential and skills might be vanished just
like that without doing anything. Since my job is
different from what I've been studying. And here I am,
taking the risks and being interviewed.
How do you handle stress and pressure?
Stress and pressure are always present in any field that
we choose, so the best thing that I can do is to take a
rest and pray after doing the tasks— of course. I rest for
a while to gain peace of mind. I reflect and think
positively to avoid stressing myself. Self-motivation
helps a lot too.
What major challenges and problems did you
face? How did you handle them? *WORK*
I encountered a significant challenge when I started to
do my work in the production after the nesting, I realized
that the training and the real job are really different. I
initially found it overwhelming. To overcome this
challenge, I dedicated extra time of self-learning and at
the same time asked my colleagues on what or how’s
the process of the specific problem. Being collaborative
is really important.
Describe a difficult work situation or project and
how you overcame it. *SCHOOL*
I have faced a number of difficult situations, but what
comes to my mind right now was when I lead a team —
as a THESIS leader which eventually one of the reasons
to graduate is to finish it. Doing such study that doesn't
have any references or no related study gives us
anxiety. Being a leader, I was able to deal with it by
assessing the situation, communicating with my team,
and working together despite the unexpected setback.
Eventually, we managed to determine the possible
approaches and decide on the most effective one. This
situation taught me the importance of effective
communication, adaptability, and collaboration.
What was your biggest accomplishment (or
failure) in this position?
My biggest accomplishment in my last job was probably
the positive impact I left to my colleague— she was
supposed to give up during our nesting, but I encourage
her to continue and help her manage to answer the
customer's inquiries. Luckily, she's still with the
company till now. And for my biggest failure, it was the
time I chose fear over trusting myself. After that, I
realized it will never get me at the top, so I took the risk
of trusting the best in me.
How do you evaluate success? In my experience,
success is not just about individual accomplishments
but also about building and leading successful teams.
But personally, success is having the courage to take
risk and making that risk worth it
Why are you leaving or have left your job?
It was hard for me to leave the company who accepted
me as a fresh graduate without any experience.
However, I am ready and now looking for a career
growth opportunity. I was a part of an amazing and
supportive team, but it was time for me to take a risk
and seek new challenges that align with my career
goals.
Why do you want this job? I'm thrilled about this
position because I can see that this job can help me to
improve my skills and gain more experience in this
industry. Additionally, your company's mission and
values align with my own personal and professional
goals.
Why should we hire you? I may not have experience in
this field but if you hire me, I’ll be like a blank canvas
who’s craving to learn and willing to be trained. I am
confident that I can make a meaningful contribution and
impact in this position.
What can you contribute to the company?
I would contribute my acquired knowledge and skills
from my previous experience and my learning
capabilities to acquire new knowledge. I guarantee to
provide my commitment, passion, and dedication to the
duties that will be given to me.
Do you consider yourself a team player?
Yes! I consider myself a team player. I love to work with
different people, having discussions but sometimes I do
also love to work alone.
Independent or work on a team?
My preference is to strike a balance between both. Since
there will be instances where you need to do things on
your own. On the other hand, working on a team allows
me to collaborate with others that could yield better
results.
What are your goals for the future?
My short-term goal is to gain experiences and
exercising my profession to a company that will help me
to achieve this goal. While my long-term goal is to be
successful on the path that I have chosen and help me
to sustain my needs and wants.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about learning new things and growing
my skill sets, which is why I constantly seek out new
development opportunities.
5 years from now…
If u hire me, I will see myself 5 years from now working
in your company with a deeper knowledge in the
industry.
What motivates you?
My dreams for my family, for my parents to have the life
they deserve. That really motivates me to strive harder
and be successful in life.
Demotivates: Toxic environment, as they have always said -
a flower doesn't bloom in a toxic environment.
What exactly are you looking for in a company?
A company that has better compensation, and a job that
provides steady employment and the chance to advance
in the company or professionally advancement. And
also, to have good colleagues and a nice trainer.
Describe yourself in 1 word and elaborate.
Resilient would be the best word to describe me. I have
this mindset that no matter what failure we’re going
through, this will not mean we’ll stay that way. Hence
failure would help us to become successful and that’s
what makes me resilient.
Determine- I take all failures as a door of evaluation to
become better. As they always say if you stumble just
get up and continue your life.
Fighter, I've survived whatever life has thrown at me.
The me that you see now is the better version of me
yesterday. Still fighting for my dreams and goals.
Do you have any ongoing applications for other
companies apart from us?
I do have a couple of interviews lined up with other
companies. But with my preference, I can tell you that
this position has the challenges that I'm looking for.
What are the things you have learned from your
previous job that you think is relevant in becoming a/an
(position applying for)?
As a CSR, I learnt to pay attention to details, to be fluent
in written English, and to work independently. I believe
these things are also relevant to the position I’ve been
applying for.
Why did you choose to work with us? Decide to join our
company?
Based on my research, your company offers a job that
best fits to expand my skills. Your good reputation
represents how you value your employees.
What is your edge over the other candidates?
I don’t want to compare myself to other applicants
because I know each one of us has its own uniqueness.
But I will do my best.
Tell me that one time when a co-worker or a customer got
mad at you.
I have a good relationship with my colleagues, so I
haven’t had this kind of interaction. Although, I
encountered a challenging customer who was
dissatisfied with our product. I remained patient,
listened to their concern, and offered a solution that
addressed their specific needs. This resulted in a
positive resolution and a satisfied customer.

Describe your dream job.

A job that will let me work at home.
Tell me about the toughest decision you had to make in the
last six months.
Deciding to get out of my comfort zone, and finally try
another opportunity that will grow my personal growth
and skills.
If you fail in this interview, what do you think is the
reason?
I’m here to do my best and I don’t like to think about
failure. However, if for any reason I don’t meet the
expectations, it could be due to not fully understanding
the requirements of the role or not effectively
communicating my skills and experiences. I’m always
open to feedback and willing to learn and improve for
future opportunities.
