TASK DESCRIPTION:

Please use the Google Sheets with 3 tables provided to answer all the questions below. You can
access the data by clicking on this link.

The table structure are as follow:-


● Table 1: Bookings & Cars (non-revenue details)
● Table 2: Promo, revenue, and fees details
● Table 3: Member First Transaction (MFT)

Data is based on the time period of booking created from 1st January till 30th June 2022.

SQL Query Test

You could use MySQL, PostgreSQL, SparkSQL, etc scripting style. It is not compulsory to
create a database via the import of tables from Google Sheets as well as to generate
results. All we require from you would be the script itself.

Write a query to find the following:

1. Coupon spent per day and net revenue per car per day for each city.

2. Coupon rate for each month and gender.

3. Number of bookings per month. Then, group it by age in the interval of 10 (from 20 to
80) on the columns. Please include less than 20 and more than 80 in your grouping too.

4. Booking sequence number based on booking created datetime. (Hint: Use windows
function to solve the problem)
Business Acumen Test

For this section, we will be testing your analytical insights capability. You may use tools
such as Python, Tableau, Excel, or others to perform analysis in supporting your findings:

1. Use K-means clustering to build a customer profile segmentation. You may use all
or some of the factors listed below. (Hint: perform proper EDA to determine factors)
a. Total bookings
b. Average coupon rate
c. Average gross basket size
d. Average booking lead time (Hint: diff between created and start datetime)
e. Average booking duration, in days
f. Average delivery fee
g. Lag time from member signup to MFT
h. Member age

2. Tell us what other booking patterns can you find in the first 90 days since the
members from each cluster made the first booking? (Hint: try to emphasize on the
usage of metrics such as retention rate, revisit ratio, and other relevant metrics)

3. Based on the customer profile that you built from the clusters and subsequent data
digging, tell us how we should maximize our revenue and minimize our cost
(especially from coupons). Also, what are your strategies to improve customer
acquisition and retention for the sustainability of our business?

4. Reperform another round of analysis. From a supply manager perspective, what would
your strategy be in deploying a new set of cars into our platform?

5. What other data points not currently presented would be useful in helping you determine
a more granular, targeted pricing strategy?

NOTE: With the Google Sheets at hand, you will have to conduct your own data cleaning.
