SUPERINTENDING ENGINEER, JOB GROUP ‘L’- ONE (1) POST

a) Duties and responsibilities

An Officer at this level will work under a senior officer.

i ) designing,
ii ) preparation of drawings and
iii ) supervision of construction of civil,
iv ) marine and structural works

(b) Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:

i) Served in the grade of Assistant Engineer II (Structural) or comparable and relevant
position in the Public in the Public Service for at least three (3) years;

i) A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent and relevant

qualification form
a recognized Institution;
iii) Been registered by the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya (ERB) as a
Graduate
Engineer; and
iv) Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
