1.) This research includes employing
microbial fuel cells to generate electricity
from plant crops, which is a sustainable
and possibly clean energy source that
addresses the 7th SDG, Affordable and
Clean Energy. This also addressed one of
the 17 SDGs, Industry, Innovation, and
Infrastructure, because the use of new
technology for electricity production, such
as Plant Microbial Fuel Cells (P-MFC),
contributes to developments in
sustainable infrastructure and technology.
It also involves another SDG, Climate
Action; by investigating alternate and
sustainable energy generation methods,
this initiative may aid in mitigating climate
change by lowering greenhouse gas
emissions connected with current energy
sources.
2.) Yes, we find their project useful. Thestudy did not only answer and satisfy one
of the 17 target Sustainable Development
Goals (SDG) which is Affordable and Clean
Energy but also answered one of the
Department of Science and Technology
(DOST) research thrust here in the
Philippines which is Sustainable
Environment and Natural Resources. The
Chapter IV and Chapter V of the study
proved its success in producing clean
energy from the plant microbial fuel cell
applied in the ginger plant crops. The
Chapters IV and V of the study also stated
that the system built around the crop
showed no harm on the plant and instead
promoted the its metabolic processes,
resulting in a much greener and sturdier
plant. These resultsprove the usefulness
and relevance of their project to our
country, especially to the agricultural
sectors of our nation. Their project did notonly help provide affordable and clean
energy to our farmers, but also enhanced
their ginger plant crops, allowing for a
more efficient and sustainable production.
3.) The parts of SIP in their manuscript
involves:
The title of the project, the names of the
researchers, their school, and the date of
submission are all included on the title
page. An abstract as a brief description of
the research project's aims,
methodologies, significant results, and
conclusions. Background information, the
motivation for the investigation, and the
research question or hypothesis are all
included in the introduction.
Methodology as a more details of the
research methodologies and procedures.
This covers data collection methods,
experiments, materials utilised, and anystatistical analysis.
Results and Discussion is a summary of
the research findings. Tables, graphs,
charts, or photos are frequently used to
illustrate data. The outcomes must be
described objectively.
Lastly the recommendation and references
for future researcher and credits.
4.) The rationale of the study was first
formulated by identifying an issue present
within the countrythat needs to be
justified, which is the lack of
mechanization and power use in Filipino
agriculture, which results in lower
agricultural output, which was made
concrete and strengthened by citing an
article published by Alave (2020) and also
citing a statistic from Statsta Research
Department (2012). These issues were
also made worse by the COVID-19pandemic, especially in rural regions. The
rationale goes on to discuss sustainable
energy options, notably plant microbial
fuel cells (PMFC), and includes pertinent
research on employing PMFC with crops
like rice. The possibility of PMFC
enhancing agricultural production is linked
to ginger farming, which is popular among
Filipino smallholder farmers. In simpler
terms, the rationale was formulated and
structured by first providing and identifying
a need for the study, then made concrete
by citing related literature, then followed by
the hypothesis/objectives.
5.) The statement of the problem of the
study begins with a general summary of
the study's goal, which is to create an
energy system using microbial fuel cells to
produce green energy from crops of the
ginger plant. After this brief introduction, the issue statement outlines a number of
particular researchquestions that the
study seeks to address. Each query
focuses on a distinct area of the research,
such as the success of the Plant Microbial
Fuel Cell in terms of electric potential,
plant growth, and voltage output. These
questions are arranged in a systematic
manner. The statement of the problem
finishes by presenting queries regarding
probable variations in voltage generation
depending on variables like the time of day
and the number of days that have passed,
and it makes a suggestion about looking
into trends in gathered data. The
subproblems of the statement of the
problem of the study also showed an input-
output pattern.

‘Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was also used in the study.7.) Yes, it is ethical since they assure that
ginger plant growing for powet generation
does not hurt the environment or deplete
natural resources. Evaluate the project's
total environmental effect, including land
use, water use, and potential soil damage.
Also in terms of ecological and
biodiversity effect. They have also
assessed how the initiative helps the local
community. They have also assessed the
handling of ginger plants utilised in the
