have reveled in your curiosity and fear. For a time, we danced upon the thin line
between madness and merriment, our laughter echoing through Night City’s
labyrinthine heart. But as the seasons shift, so must we.
With the same elusive grace that marked our arrival, we now recede into the
obsidian cloak of anonymity. The enigma you sought shall fade into the black,
leaving only whispers of our peculiar existence.
Though the painted smiles may vanish from the city’s tapestry, do not be
disheartened, for this is not farewell but au revoir. Like clockwork, with the
return of the cold, unforgiving night, so too shall we emerge from the shadows
once more.
As the city slumbers and dreams of electric sheep, know that we, the clowns
of the night, lie in wait, concocting new riddles and absurdities to bewilder and
beguile. The carnival shall return, and our revelry will recommence.

Hey y’all!
Everything has been moving at lightspeed since I stepped out of
my comfort zone. It’s been overwhelming but I appreciate each and
every one of you for helping me see more of this crazy city. Are you
ready for more?
As many of you know, this month marks the 20th anniversary of
the Bombing of the Arasaka Tower. This can and should bring up
many complicated feelings in the hearts of those that live in Night
City. But, this act showed that the noses of the corporations can be
bloodied, right?
Regardless, it is important to remember those that were lost
during this act. As not all of them were corpo slaves. To that
end, this reporter went to observe the memorial procession in
Japantown. The service, led by Jericho, was interrupted by a trope
of Bozos, seemingly, intent on their normal brand of chaos. The
security team I was attached to quickly eliminated the threat but
were surprised to see that not all of these Bozos. So, who were
they?
It seems that these Bozos had specifically targeted Jericho.
This seems outside the normal shenanigans that then engage in.
As always, vids have been attached below. Innocents have had
their faces blurred for privacy. One of the security team members
discovered a wanted poster have they been known to act as mercs?

Myra Goldsmith - “In Every Myth, There’s a Byte of Reality”
In a harrowing incident that unfolded in the heart of Night City’s
bustling Westbrook district last night, an augmented individual
known to have fallen into the grips of cyberpsychosis wreaked
havoc, resulting in a deadly showdown between law enforcement
and the assailant. The incident tragically claimed the lives of not
only the deranged assailant but also resulted in collateral damage
to several innocent civilians.
The incident began at approximately 11:30 PM when the
unidentified assailant, whose identity is still under investigation,
initiated a violent rampage in a high-end cyberware clinic, creating
chaos and terror among the unsuspecting patrons. Witnesses
described the individual as being heavily augmented, with illegal
modifications clearly visible throughout their body. These illegal
augmentations, often associated with cyberpsychosis, are known to
enhance aggression and reduce impulse control in individuals.
Local law enforcement, the Night City Police Department (NCPD),
swiftly responded to the distress calls from the clinic. However,
the assailant proved to be a formidable adversary, employing
their enhanced abilities to fend off the NCPD’s initial response.
Eyewitnesses reported a tense standoff as the augmented assailant
exchanged gunfire with NCPD officers, endangering the lives of
nearby civilians who had sought refuge in the clinic.
Recognizing the gravity of the situation, the elite MaxTac unit,
specialized in handling cyberpsychos and other high-threat
situations, was called in to assist the NCPD. MaxTac arrived on the
scene in armored AVs, swiftly establishing a perimeter around the
clinic and evacuating civilians to safety.
The confrontation escalated to a deadly climax as MaxTac
officers engaged the assailant in a high-intensity firefight. The
augmented individual displayed inhuman reflexes and a relentless
determination, resulting in the loss of several officers’ lives. In a
dramatic turn of events, a MaxTac sniper managed to incapacitate
the assailant with a well-placed shot, ending the threat once and
for all.
Regrettably, the intense exchange of gunfire led to collateral
damage, with several nearby buildings and vehicles sustaining
damage. Civilians who had sought refuge in the vicinity of the clinic
also suffered injuries in the crossfire, leading to a tragic loss of
innocent lives. Emergency response teams were quick to arrive
on the scene, providing medical assistance to the wounded and
stabilizing the situation.

spoken to many of the denizens of our fair city from all walks throughout the
run of our screamsheet, and we’ve made an attempt to capture every last walk
of life be it from the elite in their ivory towers to the chooms slumming it in the
combat zones. Our guest this go around may already be known to you, give it up

Raz, Raz, Raz, a household name at this point in time for most in the know.
Your journey from the Old Combat Zone to becoming influential in Night City’s
Finest and an edgerunner has been nothing short of extraordinary. Can you
take us back to those early days? What drove you to overcome such hardships
and become the person you are today?
What drove me... well its a boring answer but money did. Starving to death
wasn’t the way i wanted to go out on and i made a promise to someone
important that i’d make it big in this shit hole of a city. I think if they were still
alive and kicking they’d be proud right now.
The scars of your past are quite literal, with those RCL symbols etched
into your skin. How do you carry the weight of those memories while still
managing to keep a balance between your ‘business’ side and the lighter
moments in life?
God damn Medias digging around in others pasts... normally I’d kill you for
that but my therapist recommends I shouldn’t take human life so lightly. Well,
its hard if I’m honest. There’s always this hatred and disgust I gotta carry on me
knowing how I was in the past. On the business side it doesn’t matter much, my
employers usually don’t bother looking into that stuff given my efficiency and
high success rate but on the side of family and friends... told nobody the story
yet even though a couple of them know that I have those tattoos
Word has it you have two lucky people in your life, though the path hasn’t
been easy. Meeting Recoil and Fortune seems to have had a profound impact
on your life, both emotionally and mentally. Could you share how these
relationships have shaped your perspective and aided your healing process,
especially after the losses of those along the way?
Without the both of them I’d probably have gone mad ages ago. I owe
Recoil and Fortune my life as much as I do to my therapist and surgeon. My
perspective on life had been very depressing and bleak with money having
been the only driving force keeping me going, but thanks to the two of them
especially Recoil I got to experience all sorts of new things I never knew I
needed in my life before. A hug, some pancakes or a friendly welcome home
really get you if all you’ve experience in your life beforehand was being told
you’re pathetic or that you’re nothing more than a machine built for murder. Not
that I can deny the last thing though haha.
Your experience at the Night City County Fair sounds like something out of
a twisted dream. How do you reconcile the dark reality we find ourselved in
with moments like these? And tell us more about your unique collection of... shall we say, unconventional trophies?
Now I’m really getting weirded out how ya’ll medias know stuff like this... I don’t reconcile with our dark reality, I accept it. It makes me
feel at home, then again I’m a runner up for joining MaxTec so that might tell you how close to the edge I really am. As for my collection, it
all started with a certa`in unfortunate job I went on and evolved into a hobby of sorts. Pick up a head here, some fingers and ears there
and while I was at it I took in a conjoined twin psycho and put him in a cryotank for display. In your line of work, trust and reliability are
crucial.
From facing down ‘psychos to protecting ‘saka execs, your reputation as a capable Sheriff is well-established. How do you find the
strength to face such extreme challenges, and how has your role in the NCPD influenced your role as an edgerunner?
My strength mostly stems from striving for a better life and wanting to share that with my new family. Besides who doesn’t wanna
brag that they fought a FBC and ACPA on the same day all so you could fund a gift for your girlfriends? As for the NCPD, it’s influenced it
positively since i can rely on some pretty heavy hitters in case shit hits the fan. Sure i did have my qualms with the higher ups at some
occasions, also had gotten myself some medals and gratitude at other times but overall the PD’s been good on me.

their ivory towers to the chooms slumming it in the combat zones. Today we have a new name on the block, let’s get it rolling with
Rohe!
Eike, it’s fascinating to see your journey from starting a tech startup to edgerunning. Can you share with our readers how your
venture, “Underworld Electronics,” what motivated you to dive into this field?
Umm… I mean, I’d rather not talk about any of the edgerunning stuff, but I’ve always had a knack for working with computer and
NET systems, and I learned how to work with META pretty quickly, so after I was able to get fairly steady work designing, and even
testing, NET architecture and the associated security systems attached to them.
From there it was a pretty simple jump to general electronic and even odd-job style fabrication and upgrade work, and once I
started getting people commissioning me for work, I realized I needed to make a “brand” or whatever.
Let’s talk about more “Underworld Electronics” then. How did the idea for this startup come about, and what sets your tech
products apart in Night City’s highly competitive market?
The name “Underworld” sprouted from the stories that my mother used to tell me when I was young. My parents came from
New Zealand; they brought their language and my mother brought her stories. I was
fascinated by the concepts of “other worlds,” places where gods come from, places
people go when they die, that kind of thing, so I decided to name the startup after
that.
Underworld makes sturdy gear to the specifications of the customer. We do
personal electronics, general gear, armor, and drones as well as cybermodems and
software.
Getting mass production stuff is fine, but you’re often paying for the name, and
if you don’t go for mass production stuff, you can’t be too sure of the quality; at
Underworld, that’s not a factor, you can be sure everything will be of the utmost
quality.
It’s fascinating to know you’re also involved in NET architecture design and testing.
How does your work in this field tie into your startup? Could you share some
insights into what a typical day looks like for you in this dual role?
Of course! A lot of the engineering work that goes into NET architecture, and META
in general, is taking stuff that’s been made open source and piecing it together.
Rarely do I ever have to make soft from scratch. It’s similar with building the
architecture’s hardware; I don’t have to machine the individual components, but I
know which ones are quality and how they play together nicely.
That skillset works very well for general “techie” work too. The testing work is
what you might have heard of as “white hat” netrunning. I get express permission
to use my customized cyberdeck to run against an architecture in question and then
provide them with information on how to improve and tighten the security with their
budgeting concerns in mind.
How do you maintain a balance between the challenges of your past and
the aspirations of your present, both in the tech world and any - let’s call it -
moonlighting?
I’m… not sure what you’re implying by “moonlighting,” but uh… I just make sure
to make enough money to cover my living expenses. I’m established enough in my
white hat work that I can live just off of that if I want to, and with my startup getting
some traction, I’ve been able to often make a little more than I need from that kind of
specialty work.
Now, word has it you were involved in that situation regarding Lord Tenpenny’s
apartment. What happened there?
I’m… I’m sorry… I thought this was going to be just about Underworld? Well, uh… I
was hired by His Lordship Tennyson to come in with a group of contractors to inspect
the fidelity of his security systems in the penthouse; we discovered that the architect
of the building had built crawlspaces into the penthouse that he was living in, and he
was terrorizing his Lordship… The architect ended up dying in a struggle when we
found him, and we… damaged some of his Lordship’s property during the job.

Her real name “Ariadne” was given to her because she tried to pull on the cord and
get back the instant she popped into life. Rest of her life wasnt much diffrent,
being put into miserable position and then trying to pull herself into the safety and
stability. SovOil forced her whole family to abandon everything(in case of some even
bodyparts) and flee or theyer life to Night City. This broke her one more time, incident
and infection pressed her hard into wheelchair.

Getting up and stronger was her worth killing for kind of love.

During her relatively short stay she meet few friends, local clinic owners in person
of Sigma and Mino agreed to provide safe parking space for her home and and were
always ready to patch her up. In worst time she even was offered a room in conapt.
But person who had the biggest impact was MockingBird, the to be mate that had
shown her the reason to not loose the last shreds of humanity, and try to be the best
she can be.

That was her kind of love to live for.

And there was getting stronger, better trained and more deadly to take revenge on
people that caused all the anguish for her, her family, her friends and every citizen.
To makeworld a slightly less shitty place, both by kindness and raw firepower.

That was her “worth to die for” kind of love.

Just as she was about to get herself back on the feet, even stronger than before, but
life, in the person of Bozos, made her into swiss cheese, not that she ever had chance
to taste the real thing. Hail of lead broke her beyond comprehension, no diffrent than
when she used it while when being in control.

Her journey was ended too soon by some clowns, but what she represents is still
alive. Nonenthless, that mean war, because war is a time when parents have to
burry theyer kids.

Greetings Choomba! Neon Red is a Cyberpunk Red tabletop RPG living community. It is a
