Father Coll’s spirituality

He did what he had to do, he became what God wanted him to be.

Fr. Erich wrote:

“Fr. Coll was such a Great
Man of Sanctity”, He was a holy
man, a living saint for all season”.

Today
Our Sister in their Joint Circular described holiness: Holiness is possible and it is, in whatever
circumstances. Holiness is root of evangelization itself because when there are more saints,
more apostles would there be.

Tomorrow
Until this very contemporary time, Fr.Coll’s sainthood echoes continuously and is very alive.
We, Fr.Coll’s daughters, the people, the Church of today are called to be holy just as our Father
in Heaven is Holy.

“Dominicas de la Anunciata”
the fulfill of his dreams.
“ What he wanted was to give to others, especially to the poorest, the youngest and the least
fortunate, the possibility of bringing their natural gifts to full naturity and of benefitting to
the full from the gifts of grace”. ( Living stone of Christ)

Our congregation is a strong contribution of Fr.Coll to the religious and human culture.
His basic ideal is thus expressed in the Rule of the Institute:
“Dominican Sisters of the Anunciata, a branch of the great tree of St. Dominic”.
 Since he wished that the sisters “to spread true doctrine by teaching it in towns large
and small”, and thereby to enlighten the darkness of ignorance. We minister to people from
all social backgrounds, but particularly those most in need.

WHO ARE THIS ANUNCIATA?

On February 1874, institute were called “Hermanas de la Terciarias establecidas por el P. Coll”
(Third Sisters established by Fr. Coll)
In 1875, Fr.Enrich put on the epitaph which states that Fr. Coll, left to the world a congregation
of the Incarnation of the Third Order of Saint Dominic.

The charism wich the Spirit of God conceded to Fr. Coll to found the Anunciata is a
gift for the Church and for the world.

To live and radiate the joy

of being called to follow Christ
To be converted through the living out of our personal life project.
To strengthen community life, prayer, study and fulfill our apostolic mission with
simplicity and sense of gratitude.
To welcome the youth and children,
offering them our convents as place for Prayer and Evangelization
They offer the legacy of our Dominican Charism and it is certain that the new
generations shall continue calling others to collaborate and be one with the task of
Francisco Coll: to live and announce the faith
