accountant with 6 to 8 years’ experience to join its finance
team in Lagos. the management accountant will assist the
chief financial officer (CFO) in making critical financial
decisions and optimize financial planning. you will be
responsible for preparing financial reports and develop
and implement strategies to reduce businesses’
operational costs.

you will provide administrative support to the the CFO


What does an administrative assistant to a CFO do?
Provide direct administrative and office management support to members of the
executive team, as directed.
Maintain work schedules and calendars of executive management, particularly the
CFO.
Prepare travel schedules,
book travel arrangements, and make reservations for the CFO and Finance & Audit
Committee members.
Their duties include coordinating daily financial tasks,
processing invoices and payroll, and maintaining a digital record of financial documents.
They also work with the financial management team to create revenue reports and optimize

accounts receivable, accounts payable, overhead costs, sales forecasts, value of
inventory on hand and analysis of key indicators and historical and budgeted
information.

 Input and posting into the computerised accounting


systems.
 Maintaining all records of assets and schedules.
 Communicate with all departments in ensuring
invoices are approved and signed off.
 Using computerised accounting systems.
 Assisting with any other ad hoc duties as required by
the CFO.

Requirements

 Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related


discipline.
 3 to 4 years of working experience as an auditor.
 Strong mathematical and analytical attitude.
 Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
 Organisation and attention to detail.
 Superb leadership and problem-solving skills.
