Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, it is my pleasure to be the officer of ceremonies for this

event. I am Mrs. Maria Karla Tacuboy and I would like to extend a very warm welcome to all of
you in today’s Gender and Development Seminar Workshop. We appreciate you taking time off
your busy schedules to join us today. We hope you will learn a handful today because we have
lined up a lot for this workshop to be prolific and stimulating.

We would like to request everyone to please rise for the Opening Prayer to be led by the Grade
12 Curriculum Chair, Ms. Genesis L. Gural, and the singing of the National Anthem, to be

hardworking Assistant Principal, Ms. Mercedita T. Insigne, to deliver the opening remarks.
