In my opinion, Crenshaw’s talk was like a wakeup call. Her talk did give me a better
understanding of intersectionality. The way she gave out examples on discrimination in her TED
talk was making me somewhat anxious on how the situation can escalate and the weight of
taking innocent lives can affect someone. Coming from my experience, I came from a
Vietnamese culture, and I did not get to see how other people express their identities other than
