1. The print out of E-Admit Card must be presented for verification along with at least one ORIGINAL (not photocopied or scanned) valid (not expired) Photo
Identification Card such as Employer ID (Government), Aadhar Card, Driving Licence, Voter ID, Passport, issued by Government Authorities, Photo
Identity card having serial number issued by Central/State Government/Public Sector Undertakings of State/Central Government, District
Administrations, Municipal bodies, Nationalized Bank Passbook with photograph issued by Bank with laminated photograph. The candidate’s
photograph and signature should be legibly printed and visible on the photo ID card and should match the name on Admit Card. The Photo ID card should
not be damaged or smudged.

2. No request for change in the Examination Centre will be considered under any circumstances. The e-admit card will be valid only for the test date and
session time as specified.

3. Candidates have to paste their recent passport size colour photograph at given space in the E-Admit Card at page no. 1 for appearing in the
examination. The E-Admit Card will be collected by the room invigilator during the examination from all the appearing candidates. Therefore,
candidates are advised to retain a copy of the E-Admit card and keep it till the declaration of online test result/skill test/interview as its
production before DDA Service Selection Board is necessary. Without affix/paste photograph at given space, candidates will not be allowed
to appear in the examination.

4. No candidate shall be permitted in the examination centre without carrying E-Admit Card and valid ID proof (in original) under any circumstances. In case,
change in the name by the candidate after/before marriage, the candidate must bring the original matriculation certificate along with original Identification
Card. The identity of the candidate will be matched from the proofs to be provided by the candidate. Candidates are allowed to carry E-Admit Card and
Identity proof only inside the examination centre.

5. The e-admit cards shall be made available on the DDA’s web site {www.dda.gov.in} for download & printing by the candidates only 72 hours
prior to the schedule date of examination. The e-admit card will be computer generated and shall not be sent by post.

6. As a precaution for COVID-19, candidates are required to reach their allotted exam centres on reporting time as mentioned in the e-admit card
(1 and ½ hours in advance) so that entry formalities and compulsory physical frisking can be done smoothly. The main gate of examination
centre will be closed half an hour before the commencement of the examination time. No late coming is allowed. Therefore, candidates are advised to
locate their test centre and its accessibility at least a day before the test so that they can reach the centre on time on the day of the test.

7. Candidates’ admission to all the stages of the examination is purely PROVISIONAL subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. Mere issue
of E-Admit Card to the candidate will not imply that his/her candidature has been finally cleared by the Delhi Development Authority. If on verification at
any time before or after the online examination, interview, computer proficiency test or skill test (as applicable) it is found that they do not fulfil any of the
eligibility conditions; their candidature for the examination will be cancelled by DDA. If any of their claims is found to be incorrect, they may render
themselves liable to appropriate action by the DDA, as deemed fit.

8. Candidates are required to register themselves on Biometric system before commencement of Test, therefore, for capturing Bio-metric data, candidates
are advised not to apply any external material on their hands/foot like mehandi, ink etc.

9. Once the Biometric attendance/Capturing of photograph at the Registration Desk is done, such candidate will not be allowed to leave the Exam
Room/Hall before end of the examination.

10. The questions will be bilingual i.e. in Hindi & in English, wherever applicable, except for the test of language section of the paper and syllabus will be
covered as mentioned in the advertisement.

11. There is negative marking of 0.33 marks for each wrong answer in all such cases where the each question is of 01 mark and 0.66 marks for each wrong
answer in all such cases where the each question is of 02 marks.

12. Pen/Pencil & paper for rough work would be provided in the examination lab to the candidate, which have to be returned to the invigilators
after end of the examination. Candidate should clearly write his/her name and Roll No. on each rough sheet.

13. Candidates are strictly advised not to bring pen, pencils or stationery box, paper chit, books, notes, bags, wallet, purse, mobile phone, ear
phones, Bluetooth devices, electronics watches with facility of calculations, pagers or any other electronics communications device etc.
inside the examination centre/premises. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action against such candidates including ban
from future examinations. Candidates are also advised not to bring any valuable/costly items to the examination centre. In case, they bring any such
items, they would have to make their own arrangements for safe custody of such items. The DDA shall neither make any arrangement nor be responsible
for the safe custody of any such item and will not be responsible for any loss in this regard.

14. User ID and password for the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be provided to the candidate 10 minutes before commencement of the test/exam at their
respective seat.

15. Candidates should not carry / wear charms, veil, items containing metals such as wallet, belt, key(s), key chain, ring, bracelet, earrings, nose-
pin, chains, necklace, pendants, badge, brooch, hair pin, hair band, clothes with full sleeves or big buttons, etc. Shoes or other footwear
which cover the toes should not be worn. Footwear should be open toe type and sandles or chappals are permitted. Candidates with long hair
should tie their hair so that ears are not covered, Use of scarf to cover the head is not permitted. For details instructions, please see the dress
code notice enclosed. If religion/customs require you to wear specific attire, please visit centre early for thorough checking.

16. In order to familiarize with the online Computer Based Test/Examination, the candidates are advised to go through the demo (mock test) available on the
website www.dda.gov.in

17. The details printed on this e-admit card must be checked by the candidate. In case of any misprinting/error in the e-admit card including dull/no
photograph & signature, the candidate is advised to personally report atleast one day prior to commencement of the examination from 10.00 AM to 02.00
PM at Facilitation Counter at DDA’ office, Vikas Sadan, INA, New Delhi-110023 along with 2 passport size photographs and documentary
evidence/certificates, valid photo ID card etc. so that necessary corrections are made accordingly. The facilitation counter at DDA will start
functioning one (1) day prior to commencement of examination date.

18. The compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour of examination will be allowed only to such PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) candidates who
opt for the facility of Scribe as mentioned in the online applications. Such VH/OH candidates will have to bring their own scribe (writer for CBT) along with
duly filled prescribed proforma at the examination centre on the day of examination for verification. A prescribed Performa “Declaration of the Scribe
(writer) & Declaration by the VH/OH candidates” and concerned Govt. guidelines are available at DDA website.

19. Candidates must also refrain from creating any obstruction during the conduct of examination. If any candidate is found obstructing the conduct of the
examination or creating disturbances at the examination venue, his/her candidature shall be summarily cancelled. Such candidate shall also be liable to
be debarred from future examinations of the DDA and legal/criminal proceedings could be initiated against him/her.

20. Frisking will be done at entry point and during the examination. In the examination, if a candidate is (or has been) found guilty of: (i) using unfair means
during the examination or (ii) impersonating or procuring impersonation by any person or (iii) misbehaving in the examination hall or (iv) resorting to any
irregular or improper means in connection with his/her candidature for selection or (v) obtaining support for his/her candidature by any unfair means, such
a candidate may, in addition to rendering himself/herself liable to criminal prosecution, will also be liable: (a) to be disqualified from the examination for
which he/she is a candidate and (b) to be debarred, either permanently or for a specified period, from any examination or recruitment conducted by DDA.

21. Any query/objection related to any question(s) and its options/answer by the candidates will be addressed through ‘Objection Management Link’ only
within 03 working days from the date, when the detail of the said link will be communicated to all present candidates after the examination through their
registered email. The link for filling Objection(s), if any, will be made available at the website of DDA. The Objection(s) received after closing of the link or
sent through any other mode shall not be entertained. DDA will initiate the result preparation process after considering each of the objection so received
during currency of the Objection Management Link on merits.

22. SC/ST candidates, who are eligible for Travelling Allowance (TA), are requested to download & print the TA form from the DDA website www.dda.gov.in.
This TA forms duly filled by such candidates are to be submitted along with the self attested Xerox copies of caste certificate, original journey tickets and
residence proof after examination is over to the invigilators. Accommodation should be arranged by the candidates by themselves and DDA will not
provide the same.

23. Candidates are also advised to read the “Online Examination Instructions” carefully for computer based test/exam available with E-Admit Card.

Dress Code Notice for DDA Examination

Important instructions/dress code for candidates appearing in examination under DDA Recruitment 2023

Use of unfair means & impersonation poses serious threat to the Exam process and the Delhi Development Authority will undertake
special measures to conduct the exam in free and fair manner and accordingly, special instructions, as listed under, are being issued for
strict compliance of all candidates appearing in the examination.

It is expected that the candidates will cooperate for maintaining the sanctity of the Exam and preventing selection of undeserving
candidates.

1) PROHIBITED ITEMS - books, pens, pencils or stationery box paper chits, magazines, wallet, belt, electronic gadgets (mobile phones,
pen/buttonhole cameras, scanner, calculator, storage devices etc), watches of any types, are STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED in the
examination lab. Candidates are only allowed to carry admit card and identity proof inside the Examination Centre. Pen/pencil
and paper for rough work would be provided in the examination lab.

2) Candidates should not bring Bags and prohibited items as mentioned above to the examination venue. In case they bring any such item,
they would have to make their own arrangements for safe custody of such items. The DDA shall not make any arrangement nor be
responsible for the safe custody of any such item.

3) If any such item is found in the possession of a candidate in the examination lab, his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled and
legal/criminal proceedings could be initiated against him/her.

ONLINE EXAMINATION INSTRUCTIONS (for CBT)

1. Total duration of examination is as mentioned in the E-Admit card.


2. The clock will be set at the server. The countdown timer in the top right corner of screen will display the remaining time
available for you to complete the examination. When the timer reaches zero, the examination will end by itself. You will not
be required to end or submit your examination.
3. The Question Palette displayed on the right side of screen will show the status of each question using one of the following
symbols:

The Marked for Review status for a question simply indicates that you would like to look at that question again. If a question is
answered and Marked for Review, your answer for that question will not be considered in the evaluation since there is negative
marking for each wrong answer.

Navigating to a Question :

4. To answer a question, do the following:


a. Click on the question number in the Question Palette to go to that question directly.
b. Click on Save & Next to save your answer for the current question and then go to the next question.
c. Click on Mark for Review & Next to save your answer for the current question, mark it for review, and then go to the
next question.
d. Caution: Note that your answer for the current question will be not be saved, if you navigate to another question directly
(without saving the answer) by clicking on its question number.

Answering a Question :

5. Procedure for answering a multiple choice type question:


a. To select your answer, click on the button of one of the options.
b. To deselect your chosen answer, click on the button of the chosen option again or click on the Clear Response button.
c. To change your chosen answer, click on the button of another option
d. To save your answer, you MUST click on the Save & Next button.
e. To mark the question for review, click on the Mark for Review & Next button. If an answer is selected for a question
that is Marked for Review, that answer will not be considered in the evaluation since there is negative marking
for each wrong answer.
