Nowadays, people are having different opinions about whether developing
countries should focus on improving industrial skills or they should stimulate
education. While improving industrial skills can result in many benefits, I would argue that these countries should give more attention about education. On the one hand, improvements in industrial skills can bring many benefits to us. Firstly, many developing countries are lacking workers with specialized skills to be able to provide decent sufficient workforce. If these countries invest more money in training professional skills for the workers, they will be able to improve sufficient workforce. Secondly, since the workers’ skills are improved, It will bring about the big increase in factories’ productivity. Therefore, they can provide more products with greater qualities which bring about more profit for the country. On the other hand, I believe the benefits from promoting education would outweigh those from developing industrial skills. Since education provide knowledge which is the key to success for people. Since then, we will create a young generation with better base knowledge. In the future, these people from young generation will contribute a lot to the industrial developments. For example, with greater understanding, they will be able to come up with many brilliant ideas about technology such as artifical intelligence, robots... which will bring positive changes to our daily life and the development of humanity. Moreover, not only does education broaden people’s horizon but it also train young people to have good behaviours. Except for only being interested in improving industrial skills, the fact that people have good awareness such as obeying the laws and understanding about protecting the environment is also a important thing we need to care about. If everyone disregards the laws, turn a blind to protecting the environment, not only will there be no developments but it also leave negative effects on the country and even on the whole world. In conclusion, there are different ideas about whether we should focus on improving industrial skills or promote education first, and i believe that we should have more improvements in education.
