Subject: Student Clubs 2023-2024

Dear Parents and Students,

We are thrilled to announce the initiation of vibrant and diverse array of Student Clubs 2023-2024 at
PISJ-ES. These clubs are designed to enrich the student’s educational experience, foster personal
growth, and provide opportunities for developing soft skills.

At PISJ-ES, clubs are an integral part of a well-rounded educational experience. We encourage students
to consider joining a club that aligns with their passion and goals.

Below mentioned are the clubs of academic session 2023-2024:

1. Literary Club
2. Drama Club
3. Art Club
4. Science Club
5. Community Services Club

PISJ-ES Clubs operate on the notion of being:

Student LED
Student DRIVEN
Student ORGANIZED
Student SPONSORED

Important details to note are as follows:

1. Joining clubs is voluntary; however, once joined, participation is mandatory.
2. Sessions will be held fortnightly (once every two weeks) during the zero lesson. The duration
of club session will be 45 minutes.
3. All extracurricular activities will be held under the flagship of the clubs. Only students with
club membership will be organizing and participating in extracurricular activities including the
calendar events.
4. The first session will be held on 14th September 2023. Location and time will be shared 1
dayprior through MS Teams.
5. All club students will acquire credit hour letters based on their attendance and participation in
the extracurricular activities.

In order to instill leadership and collaborative skills, the students will be honoured with the positions
of:
1. President: Presides at all meetings of the clubs. Plans the session in coordination with the club
facilitator (teacher) and consolidates all ideas received by the participants.
2. Vice President: The candidate will be from Y10 and will assist the President in the smooth
conduction of the club sessions.
3. Public Relation Officer: Ensuring that the club is recognized in the student community and
ensures all members are aware of the proceedings of each session.
