Rabbit Hole of Dependency

Due to the pandemic, international flights from outside the country become scarce. In return, foreign
investors and capitalists were not able to establish their businesses in the country. This issue ages well
with cultural anthropology, sociology, and capitalism especially when we rely much on internationals
bringing the job for us. Growing up, we were taught to “get a job”. This produced more adults that are
willing to work for others rather than start local businesses. Our economy became too dependent on
foreign capitalism that when they’re gone, national growth decelerates instantly.
