Interesting Question Title Generation
Interesting Question Title Generation
You’ll be shown the original title, abstract and the article content (on the right-
hand side).
1. You need to come up with an article title posed as a question after going
through the abstract and article content.
2. This new question title needs to be more engaging and interesting than the
original article title.
3. To generate a more interesting and engaging question title, think what kind
of a question would attract more user clicks.
4. Also, limit the question title to no more than 10 words.
5. The objective of generating these interesting question titles is to replace
the original headlines so that they can be used to enhance the curiosity of
the user in the form of questions and thereby attract user clicks.
6. Make the question titles to the point to have a user engage quickly.
7. Generate the question such that there is a definitive answer to the
question. For example, we wouldn’t say “Is Trump dropping out of the
race?” because that headline is misleading, clickbait and doesn’t align with
ethical journalism. We could say, “Is Kamala Harris Biden’s VP choice?” as
we know the answer is yes. Or “Why is the sky blue?” because we know
there is a definite scientific answer to this.
NOTE: Please note that judges who copy paste the original title or abstract as the
question title will be blocked.
