Task 1 Research about Scriptwriting.

What is script? Script is a written description in detailed of storyline. It also can be a written version of dialogue, action, scene, stage direction, sound, graphic and animation for TV show or movie.

What is writing? Writing is the representation of language in a textual medium through the use of a set of signs or symbols (known as a writing system). It is distinguished from illustration, such as cave drawing and painting, and non-symbolic preservation of language via non-textual media, such as magnetic tape audio. Writing most likely began as a consequence of political expansion in ancient cultures, which needed reliable means for transmitting information, maintaining financial accounts, keeping historical records, and similar activities. Around the 4th millennium before century, the complexity of trade and administration outgrew the power of memory, and writing became a more dependable method of recording and presenting transactions in a permanent form. In both Ancient Egypt and Mesoamerica writing may have evolved through calendrics and a political necessity for recording historical and environmental events. What is scriptwriting?

Scriptwriting is an art form, and creating art is never easy. Every time you watch a TV show, watch a film or even play a computer game you are taking in the work of a scriptwriter.

With today being driven by the various mediums of entertainment scriptwriting has becomes one of the best page and attractive jobs going. Film scripts have been sold for in excess of $1 million. With that sort of money floating around it's no wonder people are becoming more interested in the idea of scriptwriting.

However scriptwriting can be a difficult and arduous task. Even the best of scriptwriters often have creative lulls and can go for years without writing a single script. Its all about how to form ideas, how to structure the story of your script, the "industry standard" in script formatting, how to flesh out characters and even how to sell your finished script. No scriptwriting stone will be left unturned!

Task 2 How can scriptwriting will be useful in media production?

Media Production focuses on the creation and analysis of media products with emphasis on the aesthetics, technology and financing structures that underpin excellent media.
