DepEd launches E-Saliksik: The DepEd Research Portal

In support to the commitment of the Department of Education (DepEd) to cater quality service to
the public, the said agency formally released a memorandum on E-Saliksik: The DepEd Research Portal
last April 04, 2022.
The order to establish the program was in response to the continuous implementation of various
policies such as DepEd Order (DO) No. 39, s. 2016 otherwise known as the Adaptation of the Basic
Education Research Agenda and DO 16, S. 2017 or the Research Management Guidelines.
In addition, E-Saliksik aimed to serve as the central repository of basic education research
including those conducted by DepEd offices, personnel, and teachers and even research conducted in
collaboration with DepEd.
Moreover, the said program shall serve as host through the permission of authors and owners in
the education sector. Thus, shall aim to improve access to education research and foster the culture of
research.
Meanwhile, the DepEd Order shall be published in the Official Gazette while certified copies shall
be made registered with the Office of the National Administrative Register (ONAR) in University of the
Philippines Law Center, UP Diliman, Quezon City.
