This branch of Southern Fists claims lineage to the famous Chinese folk
hero Wong Fai Hung (1847-1924). Son of Wong Kai-Ying, one of Canton's
"Ten Tigers", who himself had studied from Shaolin master and monk Luk
Ah-Choy. Wong's own Southern Shaolin is captured in his Hung Fist, a
varied style with deep horse stances and mixed arm motions some of which
could be considered Southern Long Fist. A prominent feature is the
verbalization of different sounds as an active ingredient of Hei Kung
training. Demonstrated by Chen Nian En, fourth generation disciple of
Wong Fei Hung and the Chief Wushu Coach of Brunei.

Actually Lung Xing Wu Ma Gui Cao Quan or "Dragon Shaped Five Horses
Return to the Trough Boxing." A long set. By now the horse stance
associated with Hung is completely gone. Actions are fast, drag steps
accompany almost all movements. There is special emphasis on unusual
angles for fists strikes such as overlay back knuckles. Again, very similar at
first blush to White Eyebrow style work.
