I. Learning Competency
Discuss and generalized what is computer.
Computers are very useful inventions of man. You can see them
everywhere. You can find them in homes, schools, malls, hospitals,
offices and in almost every place where electricity is present.
Computers are electronic devices. They are also machines. They
are used in browsing the web, computing, telecommunication,
watching movies, listening to music, encoding documents, editing
photos and videos, playing games and even for e-learning.
Computers are continually upgrading. Today, they come in
different sizes and functions. Examples of these are the desktop
computer, laptop, tablets and smartphones (see Figure1).
