LW6406 Course Registration and Declaration (2020-2021A) LLMArbDR
Please indicate on the attached “Course Registration and Declaration” form whether you will enroll in
the “LW6406 Mediation Practice” course in Semester A 2020/21. You may refer to the SYL:
http://www.cityu.edu.hk/catalogue/pg/202021/course/LW6406.htm and timetable for the course.
This course requires 100% attendance of classes. If you cannot meet the 100% attendance
requirement, you will fail the course automatically.
We will not accept online registration for this course. We will start accepting course registration via
email from 9:00am on 21 August 2020 (Fri). Due to a limited quota to enroll in the “LW6406 Mediation
Practice” course, if you would like to take this course in Semester A 2020/21, please complete the
attached “Course Registration and Declaration” form and return it to us by email to Ms Cassie Leung at
cassie.leung@cityu.edu.hk before 9:00am on 28 August 2020 (Fri).
Please also note that there is no trial period for attending this course. That means if you are approved to
take this course and you drop the course on or after 13 September 2020, you will have to pay the
penalty even though you have not attended any classes.

LW6406 Mediation Practice in Semester A 2020/21
I will enroll in “LW6406 Mediation Practice” in Semester A 2020/21 (see attached dates and times of classes). I
agree that the School of Law will register me for Semester A 2020/21 and I will pay the tuition fees accordingly
upon being registered.
I will attend 100% of the “LW6406 Mediation Practice” course in Semester A 2020/21 and will
pro-actively participate in the various exercises within the course.
I understand that if I cannot meet the 100% attendance requirement, I will fail the course.
I understand that application for dropping the LW6406 course will be subject to the tuition fee liable as
mentioned in the above table.
