İdea of Snowball and Napoleon

Napoleon and Snowball were young pigs who were leading other animals in their
revolution against Mr. Jones, the owner of farm. They both along with other
animals worked together in revolution. But after the revolution in farm both
Napoleon and Snowball were having different methods of leadership.
Snowball was more active in all those meetings, and he was better at speech than
Napoleon. Snowball was revolutionary in his ideas. Snowball always came up with
new ideas. During their second war against other people, he was in charge of
defensive operations and with his orders every animal was at his post in a couple of
minutes. After war even Snowball was conferred as “animal-Hero, first class”. He
was awarded with brass medals for his bravery. Snowball was more sharp minded
in every argument, and in this way, he used to always win the votes of majority
through his intelligence. Snowball had a progressive ideology he used to believe in
complete democracy, and he knew that majority of animals would support him. For
example, he came up with idea of innovation and improvement of farm. He always
used to talk about field drains, silage and basic slag. But Napoleon never agreed to
his innovative ideas and projects. Snowball wanted to build a windmill that could
supply the farm with electrical power and to operate a dynamo. But Napoleon was
the only one who opposed his ideas and acted as barrier to the progressive ideas of
snowball.
Napoleon as it is attached with the name of great brutal personality of France
Napoleon Bonaparte, he was a French military and political leader. Napoleon, the
pig, also believed in total dictatorship so that no one should oppose him in his
ideas. He never came up with new ideas but he always used to reject ideas
proposed by Snowball. For example, snowball wanted to build windmill but he
opposed the decision and detained it by saying that now we need to increase food
production and if they wasted their time in construction of windmill they will
starve to death. Napoleon believed in physical training of animals so that they
should be ready every time against any invasion. But snowball wanted to send
pigeons and satire-up a rebellion among animals of other farms. Napoleon wanted
dictatorship for this purpose and even grew nine puppies of dog. No-one could
oppose his orders as he used to be along with his nine big hunting dogs so
everyone in farm was terrified from Napoleon. And it was the law enforced by
terror. Napoleon wanted everyone to respect him and obey his orders either if they
were wrong or right. No one could even dare to oppose him.
So, all in all Snowball was a very honest and sincere leader working for his
nation(I.e. animals of the farm). This character is based on Leon Trotsky, a great
leader. While Napoleon is shown his counter part, totally opposite who built his
government of oppression and fear. He was not sincere but rather only enjoyed his
leadership using the power by abusing other animals.
