CHILD LABOUR POLICY


There is no vacancy allowed for any child and under age
person in RELIANCE FABRICATION
Generally the employment age is at least Eighteen years
according to RELIANCE FABRICATION, policy. To eliminate
the child labour in RELIANCE FABRICATION follows the
labour laws and rules; we also adopt the following objectives
at the time of recruitment of employees.
1. As per company policy minimum age of recruitment is 18 years
and also applicable on contractors.
2. National identity card is checked at the time of recruitment for
verification of his age.
3. Age of employee will be verified through Voter ID, Aadhar
card, PAN card, etc at date of joining.
4. Medical certificate from registered surgeon/Physician
regarding proof of age is also accepted.

DISCRIMINATION POLICY

RELIANCE FABRICATION is policy not to engage in or support


discrimination in hiring, compensation, and access to training, promotion,
termination or retirement based in race, caste, national or social origin,
religion, birth, disability, gender, sexual orientation, family
responsibilities, marital status, union membership, political affiliation, age
or any other.

No employee is allowed in the RELIANCE FABRICATION with any


behaviour that is threatening, abusive, exploitative, or sexually coercive,
including gestures, language, and corporal punishment in workplace and
also in residence and other facilities provided by the company for use by
personnel.

DRUG AND ALCOHOL POLICY

ALL MEMBERS OF THE COMPANY MUST READ AND AGREE TO ABIDE BY THE DRUG
AND ALCOHOL POLICY BEFORE COMMENCEMENT OF THE DELIVERY.

RELIANCE FABRICATION Subscribes to and endorses an alcohol and drug policy.


Senior Authority is expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times
and expect high standards of responsible social behaviour from the employee. The use of
illegal drugs or alcohol on company office will not be tolerated and may lead to
disciplinary action that could result in your dismissal.

The following rules will apply:

A) If you are deemed to be under the influence of alcohol whilst on board this may be
treated as gross misconduct under the Company’s disciplinary procedure.

B) The taking of illegal drugs or being under the influence of illegal drugs by any member
of the crew may be treated as gross misconduct under the Company’s disciplinary
procedure.

C) Any drugs required for medical reasons should be declared to the Senior Authority
and the Company prior to joining the company.

D) We may ask you to undertake a medical examination if we believe you have a problem
in relation to drugs and/or alcohol to assess if this is affecting your ability to work. You
may be suspended from work until the problem is resolved. The Company will decide
whether to treat it as a disciplinary matter.

E) Any person suspected of using drugs whether on company premises or outside the
premises during duty time will be dismissed and be required to leave the company at the
earliest opportunity. The company will not be responsible for any repatriation costs.

F) The Company will undertake random testing for drugs. We reserve the right to test
without notice for either drugs or alcohol. Failure to co-operate, or if tests prove positive
will result in immediate dismissal and possible withholding of any outstanding funds
against any costs incurred for completion of the delivery contract.

FITNESS FOR WORK POLICY

RELIANCE FABRICATION is committed to the safety of its employees and


subcontractors in their performance of work activities, and has a duty of care to
provide a safe working environment. Employees and subcontractors have a
reciprocal duty of care for their own safety and the safety of their fellow workers and
the public.

RELIANCE FABRICATION recognizes that the misuse of drugs and alcohol is a


significant community problem that can have an impact upon the safety, health and
decision-making capabilities of its employees and thereby upon the safety of the
company's operations.

In line with RELIANCE FABRICATION’s commitment to providing a safe place of


work and to protecting the safety and health of employees and subcontractors, the
management has put in place stringent controls to manage the misuse of drugs and
alcohol in all areas of the company's operations.

Random screening in the workplace of personnel and subcontractors for


substance abuse is company policy and, at its discretion, RELIANCE FABRICATION
may make a favourable result to pre-employment substance abuse screening a
necessary condition for engagement as an employee or subcontractor. Initiative to
provide information regarding education and rehabilitation programs, outside of
working hours, to access counselling services will be made available to all employees
and subcontractors.

behaviour amongst our employees and subcontractors whereby it is unacceptable to
present for work under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

HARASSMENT POLICY

RELIANCE FABRICATION is committed to maintaining a professional


standard of conduct in all of our business practices and ensuring that all
personnel (employees and the public) are treated in a fair and equitable
manner. Discrimination is defined as when a person or group of people
receives less favourable treatment than another person in same or similar
circumstances on any of the grounds covered in the Equal Opportunity Act
(Direct) or when a person is adversely impacted by an apparently neutral
rule, policy or practice which is not reasonable (Indirect).

Harassment is defined as unwelcome and unacceptable behaviour


directed to a person or group of people, where such behaviour offends,
humiliates, intimidates or annoys the recipient(s).

Grounds for unlawful discrimination and harassment include: age,


family responsibility, gender history, impairment, marital status, political
conviction, pregnancy, race, religious conviction, sex, sexual orientation
and spent convictions. RELIANCE FABRICATION complies with the relevant

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY

• Provide and ensure necessary information, awareness and trainings


to all its employees recognizing the needs from time to time to carry
out their tasks in a Safe and responsive manner.

• Conduct Periodic Audits and Risk analysis for all activities at


different work locations.

• Comply with all relevant applicable legal statutory provisions


pertaining to Health and Safety.

• Comply with the OFIs which are the outcome of internal & external
audits.

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT POLICY

RELIANCE FABRICATION is committed to develop the growth of all the


employees by:

1. Motivating them with imparting necessary training & guidance at all levels.

2. Providing them with Opportunities for enhancing their knowledge and


improving their Skill.

3. Providing the Training on specific Safety standard related to job activity to all
Employees.

The following Training and awareness program for different designated


employees such as manager, supervisor, driver and Mechanic.

The training program is categorized under

1. Generic awareness program- Use of PPE, behaviour based safety, Road safety,
Emergency response and preparedness, UA/UC, Gas Leakage & etc.

2. Specific training program- SOP training, Work permit, Positive isolation,


Mechanical safety, Past Incident Learning

Separate arrangement has to be made to cover absentees and the SOP


training is to be imparted to every new commerce . Training record should
be maintained consisting of topic discussed, attendance sheet, & feedback,
evaluation and effectiveness from trainees.

WORKPLACE BULLYING POLICY

RELIANCE FABRICATION considers bullying unacceptable workplace


behaviour and will not tolerate it under any circumstances.

Workplace bullying is ‘repeated, unreasonable behaviour directed to


an employee, or group of employees that creates a risk to health and
safety’. Examples include:

• Verbal abuse, yelling, screaming, inappropriate language

• Excluding or ignoring someone

• Singling someone out to do unpleasant tasks

• Humiliating or belittling someone through sarcasm, teasing or insults

• Intimidating, threatening abuse, physically abusing someone

• Initiation practices

• Ridiculing someone’s professional or personal opinions

• Excessive supervision or monitoring of an individual’s work

• Blocking applications for training, leave or promotion without valid


reason

• Threatening job security without valid reason

• Setting impossible work targets and deadlines

• Spreading malicious rumours or gossip

• Unexplained job changes, removing key areas of responsibility without


valid reason

Workplace bullying may cause the loss of trained and talented


employees, reduce productivity, adversely impact on health and morale,
and create legal and financial risks under statute and common law.

RELIANCE FABRICATION expects all employees to behave in an


appropriate manner and to treat other employees, clients and customers
with dignity and respect.

RELIANCE FABRICATION shall ensure that all employees are aware of


their rights and obligations under this policy through awareness and
knowledge training.

RELIANCE FABRICATION has grievance and investigation procedures


to deal with workplace bullying. Anyone who is bullied or witnesses
bullying should report it as soon as possible. When bullying is reported, it
shall be treated seriously and investigated promptly, confidentially and
impartially in accordance with our procedures.

Disciplinary action shall be taken against anyone who is found to


have bullied an employee.

Managers and supervisors shall ensure that employees who make


complaints, or who are witnesses to a complaint, are not victimized.
Employees shall not victimize complainants, witnesses or an alleged bully.
Victimization shall be regarded as a serious breach of discipline and incur
disciplinary action. False or malicious complaints of bullying shall be
regarded as a serious offence and shall incur disciplinary action.
