GENERAL OPERATION ‘The Model R51 series handguns are fixed barreled, delayed blowback, single acton, autotoading pistols. The R51 handguns are capable of fr- ing successive shots with each pul of the tigger. THE BARREL ‘The Barrel has a serias of grooves neat the muzzle. These grooves are intended to aid in gripping the Barrel during the isassembiy process. See Figure 4. This is nota threaded barel ‘THE GRIP SAFETY ‘The Grip Safely is located on the back side of the grip. The Magazine Release Button is ‘ambidextrous and is located on both Sides ofthe pistol behind the tigger.
