This document provides general notes for a steel structure project. It specifies that all dimensions are in millimeters and forces in kilo-Newtons and moments in kilo-Newton meters. Anchor bolts must be set within tolerances and the concrete must be square and level within tolerances. The customer is responsible for locating building lines and benchmarks, and the steel structure is dependent on the concrete structure.

2. Reactions force are in Kilo-Newton (kN) and Moments in Kilo-Newton Meter (kNm) units. 3. Bracing reactions should be added to the main frame reactions. 4. Foundations shall be designed for the given reactions as a minimum. 5. Anchor bolt must be set straight and to the given dimensions and the projections with a maximum of 5 mm tolerances. 6. Anchor bolt threads must be protected while pouring the concrete and must be thoroughly cleaned, and the templates are to be removed after pouring concrete. 7. The concrete edge beam / slab must be square and level to within 5 mm tolerances. 8. The customer / contractor is responsible for locating the building lines and bench marks at the site. 9. The following are the maximum allowable tolerances for setting up the anchor bolts. 9.1. ± 2 mm between any two anchor bolts in any anchor bolt group. 9.2. ± 3 mm between any two adjacent anchor bolt groups. 9.3. ± 5 mm for the top of anchor bolts. 10. All the anchor bolts must be set perpendicular to the theoretical bearing surface unless noted otherwise. 11. Anchor bolts shall be set by the owner (or his civil contractor) in accordance with the "Issued for Construction" Anchor Bolt setting Plan. 12. Compressive strength of concrete fc' = 25 N/mm2 assumed in design wherever required. 13. The steel structure, or parts of it, is designed to be structurally dependent on the concrete structural work. It is the customer's responsibility to verify the adequacy of the concrete for structural soundness and strength. PROJECT CUSTOMER BUILDER DRAWING TITLE Steel DSN BY DRN BY CKD BY JOB NUMBER BLDG.
