quantities for single classroom use only. Duplication for an entire school, an entire school system or
commercial purposes is strictly forbidden without written permission from the publisher.
Copying any part of this product and placing it on the Internet in any form (even a personal/classroom

can be picked up in a google search and then shared worldwide for free.
To print on both sides, choose just the two pages of the brochure. Click the box to
print on both sides, then make sure to select “flip on short edge.” If you are creating
this foldable to include in an interactive notebook, a blank pocket has been provided
– 2 per page to save paper. These brochures can also be organized in a 6 x 9
envelope.
Colored pencils are better than markers for this activity to avoid ink coming through
the other side.
For the individual terms, have students give a brief definition of each.
In the “Who’s Who” section, students should write a short biography of each figure.
A bibliography recording page has been included. This can also be folded into thirds
and slipped into a pocket if you’re using this project with an interactive notebook.
EXTEND THIS LESSON: Find YouTube videos for each of the vocabulary terms and
historical figures.
