Department of Ultrasonography

WHOLE ABDOMEN
LIVER: Liver is mildly enlarged in size (140 mm). Shows increased echogenicity. No focal mass. No intrahepatic duct dilatation.

GALL BLADDER: Shows normal distension. Wall is thickened. Multiple calculi are noted in gall bladder lumen, largest
measuring 12 mm.

CBD: Not dilated 4 mm approx.. PORTAL VEIN: Not dilated.

PANCREAS: Head body & tail of pancreas shows normal measurement with regular outline.
Normal parenchymal echotexture.

SPLEEN: Normal in size, shape and echotexture (100 mm approx.).

KIDNEYS: Normal in size and shape. Normal corticomedullary echotexture. No pelvicalyceal dilatation. No calculus. Cortical cyst
measuring 39 X 33 mm noted in upper pole of left kidney. Right kidney measured 103 mm (approx.). Left kidney measured 102
mm (approx.).

URETERS: Ureters are not dilated.

URINARY BLADDER: Shows normal distension. Wall is thin and regular. No calculi.

POST VOID URINARY BLADDER: post void residual urine 12 cc.

PROSTATE: Prostate is enlarged in size, normal shape and echotexture. Prostatic weight 29 grams (approx.)

IMPRESSION:

Mild hepatomegaly with grade I fatty changes.

Cholelithiasis with cholecystitis.
Left renal cortical cyst.
Grade I prostatomegaly with post void residual urine 12 cc.

Please correlate clinically.
