What is a Database?

Most simply, record your prospect/customer data

such as name, gender, email, address and so on. In
other words, info about prospects/customers.

Among the Importance of Databases?

1. Know the Prospect/Customer.

• Basically we can know the name and gender of
who we are dealing with.
• From here we can also know which groups are
more interested in our products and the available
data we can use to improve your products/ads.

2. Can be used repeatedly.

• We can contact prospects/customers again when
we have a new promotion or product for them.

3. Will Help Add Customers.

• We can always connect with prospects and
convert them into customers.
• Maybe we can also contact existing customers and
ask them to become referrals or maybe we can give
discount e-coupons and ask them to give to contacts
who might be interested in our products.

4. Helps Reduce Marketing Costs.

• Marketing budget to get a database at the
beginning is quite expensive but when there are
many and reused, the longer your marketing costs
will decrease.
• The cost of getting a new customer is much more
expensive than the cost of keeping an existing
customer and it can be used many times.

5. Survey.
• With the existing database, we can do surveys to
improve our products.
• Can be used to know their problems, interests and
requests and at the same time we can provide
products for their needs.
