Ladies and gentlemen,

Today, I stand before you as a proud member of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines, and I want to share with you the
incredible journey I've had as a Girl Scout and the importance of encouraging more young girls to join our ranks.

But first, let me clarify that being a Girl Scout is not just about wearing a uniform or being part of an organization. It's
about learning essential life skills, cultivating leadership qualities, and fostering a sense of respect for all living things.
It's about pushing your boundaries, discovering your strengths, and facing challenges head-on. I can proudly say that
through Girl Scout programming, I've developed perseverance, problem-solving abilities, and time management skills
that I never thought possible. I've grown from being shy and introverted to becoming a more confident and friendly
individual, thanks to my Girl Scout family.

So, why should we encourage more young girls to become Girl Scouts? Well, it's not just about wearing a badge or
attending meetings. It's about creating unforgettable memories through activities that push our limits and bring us
pure joy. I remember my first day as a Girl Scout, feeling nervous and unsure. But soon, I realized that being a Girl
Scout meant being a friend to all, supporting each other, and embracing the Girl Scout spirit.

The activities in Girl Scouting are diverse and unforgettable. From swimming to hiking, from singing around the
campfire to helping in our communities, every experience is a chance to learn, grow, and make lifelong memories.
The camaraderie we share in our Girl Scout family is irreplaceable. We laugh, we cry, and we support each other
through every challenge and triumph.

However, let me emphasize that being a Girl Scout is not an excuse for being irresponsible or disrespectful. We must
always uphold the values of the Girl Scout Promise and Law. Our commitment is not just words but a way of life.

Now, let's look forward to the exciting upcoming events in our Girl Scout calendar:

Camping next month - Get ready for a thrilling adventure in the great outdoors, where you'll learn survival skills and
bond with your fellow Girl Scouts.

Mamothrally sa Capitol - It's an opportunity to unite with Girl Scouts from other schools at the Capitol Grounds and
celebrate the spirit of sisterhood.

Investiture - Join us in welcoming new members to the GSP family as we hold a special ceremony to pin them and
embrace them as part of our community.

Future Regional Camps/National Camps - Experience camping with Girl Scouts from different regions, and even on a
national scale, as you grow in leadership and camaraderie.

Thinking Day - World Thinking Day is a day of international friendship, sisterhood, and empowerment. It's a day
when Girl Guides and Girl Scouts worldwide come together to address issues affecting girls and young women.

If you're interested in joining these exciting events, simply find Madam Frangie Sison at Grade 9 Committed. To
become a member, there's a registration fee of 50.00, and you'll enjoy the benefits of year-round membership,
mutual assistance for accidents, participation in various camping events, trainings, activities, and much more.

Remember, you should have a complete official uniform, which varies in color depending on your level:
orange/tangerine for seniors and violet for cadets. Active wear with the GSP logo is also a must, along with other
requirements.

To wrap it up, let's continue to support the Girl Scouts of the Philippines as we embark on this incredible journey of
self-discovery, friendship, and empowerment. Together, we can mold the leaders of tomorrow, instilling in them the
values of respect, responsibility, and camaraderie that the Girl Scouts represent.

Thank you for your attention, and let's build a brighter future for our girls and our nation. Daghang salamat!
