Threat Vulnerability Risk Assessment (TVRA)
Industry: Pharmaceutical; the client is a leading global pharmaceutical formulation development,
manufacturing and marketing company.

Scope of work: Netrika was mandated to conduct physical security TVRA for 03 designated
manufacturing facilities of the client, located in Ahmedabad. The fundamental objective was to identify
gaps in the existing physical security protection plan, and to address existing and emerging threats with
an eye on ease of business operations.

Activity undertaken: A comprehensive TVRA exercise was undertaken encompassing detailed review
and analysis of the existing physical security protection plan, macro & micro security environment
study, and interaction with relevant stakeholders. The aim was to plug existing gaps and recommend
measures that would enhance the effectiveness and robustness of the existing security setup comprising
people, process, technology and infrastructure domains.

Result/ Conclusion: Netrika conducted a physical security Threat Vulnerability & Risk Assessment
(TVRA), based on global standards and best practices. Using the TVRA framework, the risks to various
critical assets from existing and emerging threats were quantified. The Threat Risk Assessment Matrix
(TRAM) guided the effort prioritization exercise while designing the risk mitigation plan.

Industry: Manufacturing; the client is a multinational electronics manufacturer, having their state of
art manufacturing facilities (third party contract manufacturers) located at Chennai and Bengaluru, in
India.

Scope of work: Netrika was mandated to conduct physical security TVRA for the designated
manufacturing facilities of the client located at Chennai and Bengaluru. The fundamental objective was
to identify gaps in the existing physical security protection plan, and to address existing and emerging
threats with an eye on ensuring security and meeting of security SLAs.

Activity undertaken: A comprehensive TVRA exercise was undertaken encompassing detailed review
and analysis of the existing physical security protection plan, macro & micro security environment
study, and interaction with relevant stakeholders. The aim was to plug existing gaps and recommend

solutions.

Scope of work: Netrika was mandated to conduct physical security TVRA based on TIA 942 guidelines
and formulate a mitigation plan for their existing security setup. The fundamental objective was to
identify gaps in the existing security setup and to address existing and emerging threats with an eye on
ease of business operations.

Activity undertaken: A comprehensive TVRA exercise was undertaken encompassing detailed survey
of existing setup and interaction with the relevant stakeholders. The approach was to plug existing gaps
and recommend measures that would enhance the effectiveness of the existing security setup.

Result/ Conclusion: Netrika conducted a physical security Threat Vulnerability & Risk Assessment
(TVRA), based on global standards and best practices as laid down by TIA 942. Using the TVRA
framework, the risks to various assets from existing and emerging threats were quantified. The Threat
Risk Assessment Matrix (TRAM) is being used to deploy mitigation efforts o reduce risks identified as
well as satisfy their end clients as regard the Datacenters security stance.
Threat Vulnerability Risk Assessment (TVRA)
Industry: Oil & Gas; The client is a leading Oil and Gas producer in the country and operates offshore
and onshore oil production platforms.

Scope of work: The mandate is for the conduct of TVRA based on API 780 and OISD guidelines,
preparation of detailed design plan for upgradations based on mitigation recommendations identified by
TVRA, bid process management and evaluation followed by project management for implementation of
the design. ONGOING

Activity undertaken: A comprehensive TVRA exercise is being undertaken encompassing detailed


survey of existing setup onshore and offshore and interaction with the relevant stakeholders. The
approach is to plug existing gaps and recommend measures that would enhance the effectiveness of the
existing security setup.

Security Audit – Cash Management Service
Industry: BFSI; the client is a fully integrated financial services provider to Indian corporate,
institutional and individual clients.

Scope of work: Netrika was mandated to conduct physical security third party audit based on RBI &
MHA guidelines for cash management services including cash vans and vaults.

Activity undertaken: Our team of expert formulated a comprehensive physical security compliance
audit sheet based on RBI & MHA guidelines. As-is-analysis of existing security setup at client’s
designated third-party facilities were undertaken as per the compliance audit sheet.

Result/ Conclusion: Audit findings and recommendations reports were prepared for individual facilities
based on RBI & MHA guidelines.
Executive Protection
Industry: BFSI; the client is a leading financial holding company having global presence.

Scope of work: Netrika was mandated to provide executive protection services for the Chair and CEO
of the client visiting various cities in India.

Activity undertaken: Netrika undertook the assignment with an outmost professional approach. A
detailed study of the Principal’s profile and itinerary was undertaken. A comprehensive risk analysis
was carried out with regards to the principal’s travel/ stay at various cities, hotels and event venues.
Basis the risk analysis our team of subject matter experts formulated a executive protection plan
comprising execution and emergency procedures.

Result/ Conclusion: A team of professionals for executive protection was engaged throughout the
duration of the assignment. Overall security and safety aspects with regards to the assignment were
undertaken by the team, which included but was not limited to risk analysis, recce/ route planning,
vehicle inspection/ security, chauffeur briefing and liaison with all relevant stakeholders. The
assignment was executed with focus on foreseeing/ pre-empting any emergency/ crisis, shielding the
principal and ensuring his safety.
Technical Surveillance Counter Measures (TSCM)

Industry: BFSI; the client is an investment and financial services company based in Mumbai, India.

Scope of work: Netrika was mandated to conduct a technical surveillance counter measure exercise
,with a view to eliminate presence of any anomalies/ eavesdropping equipment inside the designated
critical room/ cabins at the corporate office of the client.

Activity undertaken: A comprehensive methodology was followed for the execution of the assignment.
Our TSCM team undertook the counter surveillance exercise for the designated target areas using
sate-of-the-art equipment to detect the presence any rouge passive or active eavesdropping equipment.
The exercise commenced with initial physical inspection and review of the layout of the target areas,
followed by RF spectrum scanning / analysis, detection of passive equipment using NLJD / thermal
scanner and finally detailed physical inspection using pole / telescopic cameras were carried out.

Result/ Conclusion: All the designated target areas were thoroughly inspected and electronically
sanitised. A detailed TSCM report covering observations and mitigation strategy to counter any future
electronic surveillance was developed.
Market Research
Industry: IT Industry; the client is a global software solution provider.

Scope of work: Netrika was mandated to provide security travel risk advisory and crisis management
and support, with a view to ensure safety and security of the client’s employees during travel/ stay to
various cities/ location in India.
Activity undertaken: With a deep understanding of the importance of this assignment for the client,
Netrika team undertake the assignment with outmost care and sensitivity. The key pillars of our
approach for the assignment were governance mechanism, participatory approach with shared vision,
objectives driven and collaborative approach. The commencement of the assignment begins with
discussions with the key stake holders. A detailed risk analysis was carried out with regards to the
travel/ stay of the employees to designated cities/ locations, which includes secondary and primary
research. The data/ information gathered during primary an secondary research was analysed by our
team of subject matter experts and a detailed risk travel risk advisory report with mitigation measures
was prepared to ensure safety and security of the client’s employees during travel/ stay.
Result/ Conclusion: Location specific travel risk advisory covering security, socio-political, economic
and environmental aspects with mitigation options was furnished. A dedicated team to monitor
occurrence of special event and frequent incident updates through emails/ SMS/ WhatsApp. On ground
emergency response support if asked from Netrika.

Management from Narottam Morarjee Institute of Shipping, Mumbai, & Master of Science in
Nautical Sciences from Cochin University of Science & Technology. He also holds ‘Global
Light House’ certification for conduct of hotel security & safety audits from ‘Sky Touch

He is an Indian Navy Veteran, with over 25 years of unblemished experience dedicated to

ethics. Having served in the Indian Navy, he has thorough knowledge of Government
procedures, processes and functions and has interacted with various Ministries, such as MoD,
MHA, MoS, MoP&NG, MNRE, DGH, DGS, etc. Prior to joining us, he was working with
