 GRINGOTTS™ WIZARDING BANK
At the far end of Diagon Alley™ when you enter from the secret passageway in The Leaky Cauldron, Gringotts™ Wizarding
Bank may not be the first magical building you see. It is, however, one of the most spectacular. Behind its crooked
columns and walls, the bank’s loyal goblin staff guard the greatest fortunes and most powerful artefacts owned by
all of Britain’s witches and wizards. In the words of Hagrid™, ‘Ain’t no safer place, not one. ‘Cept perhaps Hogwarts™’.

It is here Harry Potter™ first discovers his family fortune and where he, Ron and Hermione later break into Bellatrix
Lestrange’s vault to find a Horcrux (only to discover this is definitely not a safe place for intruders), and finally make
their daring escape on a dragon, leaving the noble old bank in shambles.
 THE VAULTS
Vaults, located in caves stretching deep underground,
are protected by powerful incantations, guards, trolls
and a dragon. To open a vault, its owner must first pass
rigorous security checks and be escorted by a bank
employee. Some vault doors can be opened with a key,
others require intricate unlocking mechanisms and spells.
