May 31 2016 3183 ­ FG X Falcon and SZ Mk II Territory Reverse Camera guidelines missing
Certain FG X Falcon and SZ Mk II Territory vehicles fitted with a reverse camera maybe experience a loss of the
dynamic reversing guide lines after the camera is replaced. If you experience this, please lodge an EDSR with the
wording "Reverse guide lines missing" in the text. This is a known concern and we are workingto resolve this as quick

May 25 2016 3156 ­ New Global Technical Service Bulletin Format
Ford Asia Pacific Region are excited to announce that from 01­Jun­2016 we shallbe commencing the transition to a new
global Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) format. TSBs will display a new visual layout and incorporate many changes.
The claim information will now also cater for both Servis2 and ACESII markets in the one document bringing
streamlined releasing and greater efficiency but will continue to maintain VIN targeting. You may notice some minor
variations with the vehicle naming conventions as a result of it becoming a global format. This transition will be phased
in over a period with TSBs being released in both the current and new format.

Dealers are advised that XR8 and XR6T Sprint vehicles have unique W/alignment Specifications which can be found in
Section 204­00 Suspension System­General Information of the 2014­2016 Falcon FG­X Sprint Supplement on PTS.
May 17 2016 3106 ­ SYNC2 loss of connectivity with Bluetooth, USB and SD Card
Vehicles with SYNC2 may experience Bluetooth and USB connection issues along with GPS unavailable with an ‘Insert
SD card’ message on the ICC screen. A hardware reset will return functionality however the condition may return. We
ask that you do not replace any components and complete an EDSR with photos, SYNC2 software version and APIM
software version. This concern is being investigated and your assistance is appreciated.
May 17 2016 3105 ­ 3.2L PX Ranger, PX Ranger MkII and Everest vehicles­MIL Illuminated and Exhibiting
Loss of Power with DTC P040C/P040D and/or P041C/P041D present
Certain PX Ranger, PX Ranger MkII and Everest vehicles equipped with a 3.2L engine may exhibit a loss of power whilst
driving with an illuminated Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL). Should a vehicle present with the above concern in
conjunction with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P040C/P040D (Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Temperature Sensor A
Circuit Low/High) and/or DTC P041C/P041D (EGR Temperature Sensor B Circuit Low/High) present, the cause may be
due to a faulty Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) sensor. Please refer to Professional Technician Society (PTS), 2016
Everest, Diagnostics, 2016 Diesel PC/ED, Section 5: Pinpoint Tests, WAfor diagnosis. If the EGT sensor is diagnosed as
faulty, replace the EGT sensor. Refer to 2016 Everest Workshop Manual (WSM) Section: 303­14B, Removal and
Installation, Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor.
May 11 2016 3074 ­ Vehicles Equipped with SYNC2 V3.8 (With New Patch EA5T­14D546­AYD) ­ Autoplay
Function is Switched OFF When Using a USB Flash Drive or Charging a Device Using the USB Port
Some 2014 Falcon FG­X, SZ Territory MkII, PX Ranger MKII vehicles (built in Thailand), LW/LZ Focus and other vehicles
equipped with SYNC2 V3.8 (with new patch EA5T­14D546­AYD), may experience a concern where music will not be
played automatically when using a USB flash drive or charging a device using the USB port. Should a customer request
the autoplay function to be switched on, it can be enabled in: Settings>Media Player>Autoplay ON.
May 6 2016 3050 ­ Everest AdBlue® System Malfunction Indicator­ Additional information
If an Everest customer returns with Ad Blue® System Malfunction Indicator saying no start in XXX Km, Do not
disconnect the battery from the vehicle. In order to rectify the AdBlue® System Malfunction Indicator, please carry out
TSB 16/11 Everest AdBlue® System Malfunction Indicator ­ RDCM Update.
Apr 29 2016 3012 ­ TSB 1611 Everest AdBlue® System Malfunction Indicator ­ RDCM Update
Certain Everest vehicles may experience AdBlue® system malfunction warnings andpresent Diagnostic Trouble Code
(DTC) P218F, P20BB, P20BC, P20BF. To rectify this concern please refer to TSB 1611 for the service procedure and
claim information. Please note that Module Reprogramming of the RDCM will also update the calibration. If carrying out
Programmable Module Installation, the RDCM should not be replaced. It is also recommended that after completion,
DTC's should be cleared and a network test is carried out to ensure the RDCM calibration is updated. Thankyou

Apr 26 2016 2971 ­ EcoSport Oil Change Indicator Reset ­ Reminder
Before handover of an EcoSport vehicle to the customer and after each engine oil replacement, technicians are
reminded to reset the oil change indicator. To perform the reset, refer to Workshop Manual (WSM) Section: 413­01
Instrumentation,Message Center and Warning Chimes, General Procedures, Reset the Oil Change Indicator. If required,
connect IDS and select APP % and Brake % PID’s to ensure the accelerator and brake pedal applied position is greater
than 95%. SSM: 45778
Apr 22 2016 2950 ­ A/C Condensed Water Flowing in to Passenger Compartment
Some EcoSport vehicles may experience Air Conditioning (A/C) water entering thepassenger compartment from the
Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC)unit water drain tube bracket gasket. To remedy this concern,
technicians are advised to replace the gasket only with the available service part (Part No. CN1119B588 AA) and NOT
the complete HVAC assembly. To replace the gasket, refer to Workshop Manual (WSM) Section: 412­00 Climate Control
System ­ General information, Disassembly and Assembly. Please use labor operation codes 04320A from Section 12
and 19700D16 from Section 11 of the SLTS manual when making a claim for this repair. SSM: 45766
Apr 19 2016 2928 ­ EcoSport and Figo Aspire Cooling Fan Motor Failure
Some EcoSport and Figo Aspire vehicles built before 15­Sep­2015 may experience a concern where the cooling fan
motor may fail. To remedy this concern, the dealer network is advised that Ford has released service part ­ Part No.
C1B1 8C607 FC. To replace the cooling fan motor and shroud assembly, technicians are advised to refer to the
Workshop Manual (WSM) Section: 303­03 Engine Cooling, Removal and Installation, Cooling Fan Motor and Shroud.
Please use the applicable labor operations code 8621AB ­ Cooling Fan Motor and Shroud ­ Remove and Install ­ 0.5Hrs
from Section 08 of the SLTS manual when making a claim. SSM: 45760
Apr 18 2016 2916 ­ Ranger Steering Wheel Bezel Service Part Available
Some 2011­2014 PX Ranger vehicles may experience concerns relating to the steering wheel bezels. Ford has
introduced the steering wheel bezels (Part No. AB393F870AA3ZHE, AB393F870AA3BN4, AB393F870AA3BB9,
AB393F870BA3ZHE, AB393F870BA3BN4 and AB393F870BA3BB9) as service child parts and this has been updated in
Microcat.The service procedure for the Removal and Installation of the steering wheel bezels can be found in Workshop
Manual (WSM) Section: 211­ 05 Steering Column Switches, Removal and Installation, Steering Wheel Multifunction
Switch. Please use labor operation code 3870BA from Section 03 of the SLTS manual when making a claim.
Apr 11 2016 2891 ­ 2015­2016 Mustang Built On Or Before 14­Dec­2015 Equipped With Rain Sensing
Wipers ­ Momentary Headlamp Outage In Autolamp Mode
Some 2015 and 2016 Mustang vehicles built on or before 14­Dec­2015 equipped with rain sensing wipers may
experience (with the headlamp switch in the “Auto” position and the headlamps not active) that when exposed to
particularly unique stray light sources, the headlamps turn on and after driving for 25 km the headlamps may
temporarily turn off again. The headlamps will come back on automatically after a short time or when the customer
turns the main lighting switch to "On". Technicians are advised to reprogram the Body Control Module (BCM) to the
latestservice calibration using IDS release 99.01 or higher. Ensure you are connectedto the internet to obtain the latest
updates. Calibration files may also be obtained at http://www.proservicetech.com. To claim use the applicable labor
operations 12651D and 12651D4 from Section 10 of the SLTS manual and causal part 15604. SSM: 45740
