• Bill Gates is one of the most prosperous businesspeople in the

world, thus I chose him as my business icon. He is a self-made
man who rose from humble origins to become a billion-dollar
company. He has inspired me to work hard and be successful
in business, and I intend to follow in his footsteps.
• To concentrate on his charitable work on climate change,
global health and development, and education, Bill Gates
resigned from his board seats at Microsoft and Berkshire
Hathaway.
• Early on, Bill Gates became passionate in computers and
programming. He was an excellent student who excelled in the
classroom, particularly in the area of mathematics. He and his
business partner Paul Allen co-founded Microsoft in 1975, and
he went on to become the most well-known self-made
millionaire in the world.
