AUG.1, 2006 (SRVN. 10, 1928 SAKA) HARYANA GOVERNMENT : GENERAL ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT ‘Notification ‘The 1" August, 2006 No. G.R,19/Const/Art,309/2006.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to anicle 309 of the Constitution of India the Governor of Haryana hereby makes the following fules to grant the compassionate assistance by way of exgrti financial ‘assistance on compassionate grounds to members of the family of @ deceased Government employee who dies while in service’missing Government employe, namely 1. (1) These rules may be called the Haryana Compassionate Assistance to the Dependents of Deceased Goverament Employees Rule, 2006, (2) They shall come into free atone. 2, The object of the rules is to assist the family of a deceasedimissing Government employee of Group C and D eategory, in ting over the emergent station, resulting from the loss of the bread-amer while in regular service by giving financial 13, The eligibility to receive financial assistance under these rules shall be as per the provision nthe pension/family pension scheme, 1964. 44. An eligible family member ofthe deceasedmissing Government employee shall make an application in Form A for compassionate Financial assistance 5. (1) On the death of any Government employe, the family ofthe employee would continue to receive as financial assistance a sum equal 10 the pay and other allowances that was lst dawn by the deceased employee inthe normal course without sing a specific eam, (e) For a period of fifteen years from the date of death of the employee, if the ‘ployee atthe time of bis death had not tained the age of thirty-five ye (b) For a period of twelve year till the date the employee would have retire form Govt sevice on attaining the age of superannuation, whichever is les, ifthe ‘ployee atthe time of his death had atained the age of thiry-five years but had fot atined the age of frty-ght yeas.(6) For period of seven years or til the date the employee would have retired from Govt. service on ataining the age of superannuation, whichever i les, if the ‘employee had stained the age of forty-eight yeas, @) The family shall be eligible to receive family pension as per the normal rules ‘only after the period during which he receives the financial assistance as above is completed.
