Suniega: Hello Philippines and Hello World! My great, greater, and greatest morning to all of us!
Hello partner!

Orio: Yes, hello partner! Good, better, and best morning!

Suniega: So, how's your weekend bestie?

Orio: It was quite a regenerating weekend. I got to spend a vacation with my family.

Suniega: Well, that's good to hear.

Orio: Yes, by the way partner, we have special guests today, right?

Suniega: Let's get this straight partner?

Orio: Alright!

Suniega Well not one, not two, not three….

Orio: Then what?

Suniega: But four special guests are coming! Do you know who they are?
(Silence for 3 seconds)

Orio: Oh, wow partner. Don't keep me waiting partner. Sobrang excited na ako ha!

Suniega: Balita ko nga partner magagaling sila and marami silang mga achievements noon.

Orio: Sino sino ba sila? Pwede ba natin malaman ang mga pangalan nila?

Suniega: Siyempre naman partner!

Orio: Eh ano pang hinihintay natin partner? Name reveal na yan!

Suniega: Sure Partner! Let's all welcome our four special guests! First, Ms.Charlyn De Vera,
standing 5 foot 6, a student in STI College Vigan, she also join the most prestigious Mr. And Ms.
STI last year. Give her a round of applause!

Orio: Let's also welcome Arvin Imperial. He graduated with high pride. And of course, he
believes that he is the most handsome in the class.

Suniega: Let's also give a round of applause to Mark Piano. One of the most charming student in
STI College Vigan. But I guess babaero siya? Joke lang

Orio: Let's say Praise the Lourd!

Suniega: Amen!

Orio: Look how attractive he is. Standing in front of you is Lourd Bergonia, he is a businessman
with a degree of kabalastugan. Let's give him a round of applause!

Suniega: And lastly. The most handsome, cute, pretty boy, hot, campus crush, and smart guest.
Mr. Gabriel Jara!

Orio: Wow partner ang gaganda pala naman ng mga pangalan nila, halatang smarty talaga sila!
With the help of my partner, we will ask questions about their favorite scientists and their major
contributions as well as- (interrupted by suniega)

Suniega: That's right my partner, so may we all start na!

(Sit down)

Orio: So, let's give them a round of applause.

Suniega: Louder!

Orio: By the way, how are you guys?

Charlyn De Vera: Oks naman ang life. Stressed na, broken pa.

Arvin Imperial: All well and good

Lourd Bergonia: Still alive and breathing.

Mark Piano: Ayos lang pre. A little bit nervous because this is my first time to be interviewed.

Gabriel Jara: I'm fine. It is a privilege that I am one of the few guest to be interviewed by the two
of you.

Suniega: Wow very energetic naman! Kaloka

Orio: Kaya nga partner. So, I guess let's start now?

Suniega: Alright, I heard that you are all interested with science. So, who is your favorite
scientists?

Charlyn De Vera: Mine is Ernest Rutherford

Arvin Imperial: Of course, the one and only, Joseph J. Thomson

Mark Piano: We have the same favorite. Pero mas favorite ko parin siya.

Suniega: Pero favorite ka ba niya?

Mark Piano: Depende sa mood niya. Ems.

Suniega: How about you Mr. Gabriel?

Gabriel Jara: One of my favorite scientist is Henry Moseley

Lourd Bergonia: It would be the one and only Niels Bohr

Orio: I want to ask Mr. Imperial and Mr. Piano. So, who is Joseph J. Thomson and what are his
major contribution to the world?

Mark Piano: Joseph J. Thomson was an English Physicist who helped revolutionized the
knowledge of atomic structure by his discovery of the electron in 1897.
Arvin Imperial: Thomson also received the Nobel Price for Physics and was knighted in 1908.
Mankind had already discovered electric current and harnessed it to great effect, but scientists
had not yet observed the makeup of atoms. Thomson, a highly-respected professor at Cambridge,
determined the existence of electrons by studying cathode rays.

Mark Piano: He concluded that the particles making up the rays were 1,000 times lighter than the
lightest atom, proving that something smaller than atoms existed. Thomson likened the
composition of atoms to plum pudding, with negatively-charged "corpuscles" dotted throughout
a positively-charged field.

Arvin Imperial: Well, to a large extent, it was Thomson who made atomic physics a modern
science.

Suniega: The studies of nuclear organization that continue even to this day and the further
identification of elementary particles all followed his most outstanding accomplishment, his
discovery of the electron in 1897. Although this physics has raised many theoretical questions,
from the start it rapidly gave rise to practical applications in technology and industry.

Orio: Very well said besties!

Suniega: Alright. So let's go to the next guest partner, shall we?

Orio: Parang napapagod na ako partner

Suniega: Why naman? Napapagod ka sa pag interview, pero sa paghahabol sa kanya go lang ng
go?

Orio: Ouch naman partner! Sige na nga. Next please!

Suniega: Hello Mr. Bergonia! How are you? Let me get this this straight. Who is your favorite
scientist? And how will you apply it to your time as Miss Universe?

Orio: Kung ano-ano sinasabi mo partner ha? Para kang tanga.

Suniega: Sornaman partner. Oh sige, take two! Hello Mr. Bergonia! I heard that you are a
businessman. What type of business do you actually manage? And would you to like plug in
your business?
Lourd Bergonia: I don't have time to promote my business, but yes, I am a businessman and I do
manage a clothing line, at the same time I am a student.

Orio: That's great. I've also heard that you are a fan of Niels Bohr. Can you tell us what are his
info and discoveries?

Lourd Bergonia: Niels Bohr was a Danish physicist who made foundational contributions to
understanding atomic structure and quantum theory, for which he received the Nobel Prize in
Physics in 1922. Bohr was also a philosopher and a promoter of scientific research.

Suniega: So, what kind of model did Mr. Bohr developed?

Lourd Bergonia: Bohr developed the Bohr model of the atom, in which he proposed that energy
levels of electrons are discrete and that the electrons revolve in stable orbits around the atomic
nucleus but can jump from one energy level or orbit to another. Although the Bohr model has
been supplanted by other models, its underlying principles remain valid-

Orio: I love how you talk; can you repeat again?

Suniega: (Snugs Orio) For the interruption ka talaga partner! You can continue now.

Lourd Bergonia: He conceived the principle of complementarity: that items could be separately
analyzed in terms of contradictory properties, like behaving as a wave or a stream of a particle.
His application of Quantum concept to the atomic model was revolutionary. Electrons could
have any energy while quantum physics restricts the energy of a system to certain discrete
values. In the Bohr model electrons can only occupy specific orbits of fixed energy at set
distances from the nucleus.

Suniega: Wow, so impressive naman. Diba partner?

Orio: Omskirt partner! Pinatunayan talaga nila na brainly sila!

Suniega: Can't relate partner. Next naman is Ms. Charlyn De Vera. Let's give her a round of
applause!

Orio: Mahina guys. Louder!

Charlyn De Vera: Hello guys! Thank you for inviting me here.

Orio: Thank you rin for accepting our invitation para mag guest here bestie!

Suniega: Since your favorite scientist is Ernest Rutherford, can you tell us something about him?

Charlyn De Vera: Ernest Rutherford was born on August 30, 1871, in Nelson, New Zealand, the
fourth child and second son in a family of seven sons and five daughters. His father James
Rutherford, a Scottish wheelwright, immigrated to New Zealand with Ernest’s grandfather and
the whole family in 1842. His mother, Martha Thompson, was an English schoolteacher, who,
with her widowed mother, also went to live there in 1855. Ernest Rutherford is internationally
recognised as the ‘father of the nuclear physics’ and was responsible for a number of major
discoveries in the fields of radioactivity and nuclear physics and for also changing the basic
understanding of atomic science.

Orio: I think he formulated something. I can't remember kung ano yun.

Suniega: Me too partner, so can you tell more about it Ms. De Vera?

Charlyn De Vera: Ernest Rutherford postulated the nuclear structure of the atom, discovered
alpha and beta rays, and proposed the laws of radioactive decay.

Orio: What award did he received in the hear 1908?

Charlyn De Vera: He received the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1908.

Suniega: Last question for you, what is Rutherford known for?

Charlyn De Vera: Ernest Rutherford is known for his pioneering studies of radioactivity and
the atom. He discovered that there are two types of radiation, alpha and beta particles, coming
from uranium. He found that the atom consists mostly of empty space, with its mass
concentrated in a central positively charged nucleus.

Suniega and Orio: (Nods)

Suniega: So what does it feel to be surrounded by smart and articulate people partner?

Orio: (Nods and smile)

Suniega: Last but not the least, Mr. Gabriel Jara. Hello bestie!

Gabriel Jara: Thank you so much for inviting me here

Orio: It is also our pleasure to meet you bestie. So what scientist do you admire?

Gabriel Jara: The scientist that I admire the most is Henry Moseley

Suniega: Since you really admire him. Can you tell more about him?

Gabriel Jara: His full name is actually Henry Gwyn Jeffreys Moseley, and was born on
November 23, 1887

Orio: That's it?

Suniega: To naman si partner, hindi man lang makapaghintay. Continue!

Gabriel Jara: He is an English Physicist who experimentally demonstrated that the major
properties of an element are determined by the atomic number, not by atomic weight, and firmly
established the relationship between atomic number and the charge of the atomic nucleus.

(Pause for 2 seconds)

Gabriel Jara: He also discovered a systematic mathematical equipment to prove that every
element's identity is uniquely determined by the number of protons it has. His discovery revealed
the true basis of the periodic table and it enabled him to predict confidently the existence of
elements.

Suniega: Wow! What a wild ride partner!

Orio: I guess dito na magtatapos ang ating interview for todays video. May idadagdag pa ba
kayo?

Suniega: Nako partner, wala na. My boyfriend is waiting for me na. I guess I have to go partner.

Orio: Alright partner. We have learned a lot today. Science brings me explanations, awe, and
wonder partner.

Suniega: For us, science helps our understanding of the world around us. Thank you for
watching our talkshow and see you guys later!

Orio: Omskirt!
