Automated Teller Machine (ATM)

 Branches are now being equipped with ATM, and we shall be responsible for all
transactions related to ATMs
 This will include cash replenishment, Balancing, Transactions in T-24, Branch
insurance Limits monitoring, Settlements, ATM capture cards, Receipt rolls
refiling and stock maintenance and much more.

Cash Replenishment
The term replenishment means to stock up or to fill in. The ATM must be replenished on daily
basis depending upon the ATM Cash outage requirements. All the notes that are being
replenished must meet the SBP clean note policy and only then it should be replenished.

ATM Replenishment
Refilling ATM Cassettes with cash is called ATM replenishment.
Journal Printer Roll and Customer Roll
The A IM records all Transactions on the lournal Printer Roll. which is later used for balancing
of Transactions.
Customer Roll
Customer Rolls are placed inside ATM for printing of Customer Receipts after cash withdrawal
or balance enquiry.
Security during ATM Replenishment
While ATM cash replenishment is a daily routine activity, it must be noted that during
replenishment due care and security must be ensured. The Door of the ATM vestibule must be
locked from inside and replenishment activity must be done carefully and vigilantly.

Thursday
Cash Deposit and Withdrawal
Cash Deposit
 CO receives cash and customer informs him the account number.
 CO counts the cash.
 Matches details of Account number & Account Title.
 Posts the amount in the system.
 If the entry requires supervision, asks the OM to super vise the same.
 Prints the cash deposit slip from the system.
 Delivers the Original to the customer and retains the copy for Branch record.
 Writes down the denomination at the back of the printed slip.

Cash withdrawal through Cheque


 Cheque should not be crossed.
 Check the Date of Cheque (post-dated or stale).
 Account number, account maintained in home or online branch. amount in words &
figures
 Customer signature/ thumb impression.
 Cutting & alteration CO will request to the customer lor signature/ thumb impression at
the back of the cheque.
 CO will post the Cheque through BE system and affix the Posted, Cash paid and
signature/thumb impression verified stamps.
 CO will write the currency denomination on the back of the Cheque.
 If Cheque presented by third party then CO should obtain copy of bearer's CNIC
 In same case if amount exceeding Rs. 50,000 then advised to execute CBC
process by designated branch staff

Friday
 Work on system cash deposit and withdrawal
 ATM replenishment doing physically

Saturday

 Gold loan rollover entry in system


 Check customer risk trough system
 Learn about paper work about loan and how posted in system
