RELIGION AND

THE NATURAL
LAW

Rodrigo Muciño Flores A01620494

Natural law dictates that everything has it's
own defined and innate purpose since it's
NATURAL

conception. Natural law dictates that if

something or someone does not follow it's
natural purpose, it's unnatural and therfore
morally wrong.
LAW
EXAMPLE: TODO SOBRE MI MADRE
The story begins with a woman who loses her son and decides to go find the man who
never found out about his paternity. Along the way, he meets a transgender prostitute, a
pregnant nun, and an actress struggling with her lover and partner's addictions. Complex
women full of charm.
The lives of these women are intertwined in such a way that the problems of one become
those of the other. As Manuela deals with the loss of her son, she meets women with
different struggles to hers. These strangers end up forming something similar to a family,
always respecting their decisions, identity links and sexual orientations.
RELIGIONS POSTURE

According to the Scriptures, when God created human beings,

He created them “male and female” and blessed their marital
union (Genesis 1:26–28; 2:20–25).
Bible also condenates homosexuality and feminity in man
because according to bible God created man in his own image
and likeness and that should be respected if this statement is
not followed it would be unnatural and therefore "evil"
Good or bad is not defined by what religion says is
POSTURE natural or not. Nature is not a source of obligations
or ethical norms. Therefore transexuality and
homosexuality is not bad just because religion says
ETHICS

so. Diversity in sexual preference and gender identity

does not make harm, it allows people to be who they
want to be and be treated as they deserve
WHICH SOLUTION SHOULD WE
FAVOR?

I think ethics posture is the most reasonable solution, I think

people should be free to be who they want to be, as long as it
does not harm anybody. People deserve to be treated with
respect no matter their preferences or identity.
