1. What was your expectations from this subject?

Now that the semester is about to end, did

you meet those expectations?

I anticipate gaining a deeper understanding of mathematics and exploring new aspects of the
subject through this course. Initially, I found this subject to be quite challenging, but over time,
as I grasped new lessons and concepts, I gradually began to comprehend the material.
Statistics and probability play a crucial role in mathematics and data analysis, providing me with
essential tools and techniques for interpreting data, making predictions, and making informed
decisions based on available information. My expectations for this course included acquiring
knowledge and proficiency in fundamental concepts like probability, random variables,
distributions, hypothesis testing, and statistical inference. As the semester comes to a close, I
am pleased to say that my expectations have been met, and I now have a solid understanding
of how to approach and solve various problems related to these subjects. I am eager to further
expand my knowledge and apply it in college, taking my understanding to the next level.

2. Among the lessons, PTs and activities that we had, what is your favorite? Why?

One of the most enjoyable experiences in our Statistics and Probability class was when we
organized a mini carnival. It was an absolute blast because we created our own games and
relished every single moment of it. Additionally, the opportunity to bond with my classmates was
incredibly special and unforgettable. The time we spent engaged in this activity was incredibly
delightful since being with my classmates felt just like being with my closest friends. Building
connections with my classmates through activities like this is truly heartwarming, and creating
this mini carnival stands out as one of my cherished memories in your subject.

3. What was the hardest thing in learning this subject?

The most challenging aspect of this subject is the concept of coin tosses, as it requires a
significant amount of time and I personally struggle to comprehend this lesson. However, in
reality, the lesson itself is not overly complex to understand. The difficulty lies in determining the
various possibilities that arise when a coin is tossed, which can be a time-consuming process
for me.

4. What do you think is the reason why you are required to take this subject?

The exploration of statistics and probability holds significant relevance and importance across
diverse fields for several compelling reasons. These disciplines equip us with tools and
techniques essential for the analysis and interpretation of data. In numerous fields such as the
sciences, social sciences, economics, and business, the ability to make sense of data is pivotal
for deriving meaningful conclusions and making informed decisions. Through studying this
subject, we have acquired the knowledge of solving various mathematical variations and have
been introduced to new concepts. In essence, statistics and probability establish a framework
for managing uncertainty, facilitating informed decision-making, and deriving dependable
conclusions from data. By delving into these subjects, individuals cultivate valuable skills
applicable to a wide range of domains and professions.
5. Is there any comment or one thing that you would like to suggest to improve the way of
teaching your teacher? If there is, what is it?

Being approachable is a top priority for me, and I greatly appreciate the teaching style employed
by my teacher in this subject. The manner in which she imparts her lessons resonates with me,
and I find that I am able to comprehend the subject matter even when it is challenging. I
genuinely hope that my teacher will continue her commendable and diligent work in instructing
her subjects. I admire her ability to provide clear explanations, offer step-by-step examples, and
provide ample opportunities for practice, all of which contribute to building a strong foundation
and enhancing problem-solving skills among students. Furthermore, her consistent assessment
of our understanding through formative assessments and the timely feedback she provides to
guide our progress are aspects that I truly value.

6. What are the things that you would like to say to yourself after taking this subject?

I would like to express gratitude to myself for my understanding of this subject and for the
improvement of my mathematical skills. Mathematics has always posed a challenge for me, and
throughout my final year of high school, I struggled with a lack of comprehension. However, I
am thankful that this year, I have experienced a breakthrough in understanding, and I hope to
carry this newfound understanding with me into college.

7. What are the things that you would like to say to your teacher?

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to my teacher for their exceptional instruction in these subjects
and for introducing us to various aspects of mathematics. I sincerely hope that my teacher will
continue this approach with the new batch of students, further enhancing our skills in
mathematics. Your patience and unwavering support create a nurturing learning environment
where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas. The enthusiasm you
bring to the subject is infectious and instills confidence in your students to face challenges head-
on.
