Bible Verse: Ecclesiastes 3:1-15

II. Textual Interpretation (Exegesis):

A. Contextual Analysis (What is the context of the passage? Why it was said by whom?

- It was a passage on human’s timeline in their lives in different situation and places they
belong. Every moments has emotions to feel and it is always remembered how humans live
with full of suprises that come to one’s life. Time is always inevitable and everything
happens for a reason and that creates history.

B. Message of the Passage

- Season emphasizes that all emotions and actions, both negative and positive, have
important meaning and people should experience them all throughout life.

C. Comparison (Parallel Bible Verse)

- The value and significance of a moment is always cherisable and suitable since we humans
are the history itself. We cannot predict and theorize what exactly is going to happen to our
surrounding and all the changes we see in our timeline. What is relevant right now is our
own life to remember and we should all know how to spend it with someone.

III. Reflection (Eisegesis): (How does the passage relate to yourself?)

- This passage is about the path that I chose since the flow of my life is not always
sustainable and sometimes I can only find balance and momentum when I achieved
something amazing and beautiful. My emotions and actions are not permanent and anytime
it could be subjected to change whenever something happens. The moments that I have
encountered in my life are the lessons I learned through the good and the bad times. The
end could sometimes be the beginning and legacies can be revived by another generation of
people living in the future. That’s why, in life there is always a balance in everything.

IV. Relevance (What is the relevance of the passage to contemporary people?

- This passage tells whatever time period you may belong, the history of the previous
generation may also repeat to the contemporary people through the actions they have done
and emotions that they felt in random moments. Every human life has always a connection
to the past and what bothers them is the repeated moments that happened years ago.
