Make your first PivotTable


PivotTables are not as hard as you think. After you've walked through
these simple steps, you'll know how to quickly create one.

Why make such a small PivotTable? Because it emphasises the concept of a PivotTable value field. If one of the fields in your data contains numeric values, a PivotTable can total it up. When it does this, it's called a PivotTable value field.
