HELLO CROCHETER !
Fill of joy your Christmas tree with these little amigurumi animals that protect themselves
from the cold winter. You can choose from a dog, cat, frog, crab, rabbit, owl and a mouse. Or
maybe you can crochet them all!

MATERIALS:

SAFETY:
Even though the plastic eyes used in amigurumi are often called ‘safety eyes’, they’re not
approved for use by children under 3. So, if you are making a toy for a little one this age,
cut out felt eyes and sew them to the crochet fabric, or embroider the eyes with yarn.
BODY
Using E hook and desired body color yarn, Position and attach eyes.
R1: Ch 2, 6 sc in second ch from hook. Embroider mouth and nose.
R2: Sc 2 in each sc around. (12 sts) For the owl peak cut a rectangular piece with

R8-R18: Sc 42. Stuff body, and continue crocheting,
R19: *Sc 5, dec 1*, rep 6 times. (36 sts) R23: *Sc 1, dec 1*, rep 6 times. (12 sts)
R20: *Sc 4, dec 1*, rep 6 times. (30 sts) R24: dec 6 times. (6 sts)
Remove hook, but do not fasten off. Fasten off, pulling knot to center.

OWL EARS

lilac and white color (4 strands total).

trim to approximately 0,5 inches.
SCARF
Using E hook and desired scarf color yarn, R3: Ch 2 (this counts as the first hdc of the row
