NOTICE

In the light of NEP-2020, the university is moving towards experiential learning


methodology. It is therefore notified to the students having open elective as part of the
academic program grid that the following courses will be run in Instructor led course
workshop mode:

from 0930 Hrs to 1630 Hrs full day

Method of Evaluation:

1. Class room Teaching and regular theory course assessment


a. Continuous Internal Assessment: Maximum Marks 50 to be
conducted during the workshop
i. 20 Marks - 2 class Test – 10 marks each or 1 Class Test of 20

ii. 30 Marks – 3 Elements to be decided by faculty coordinator/lead
resource
b. Mid Term Examination – Maximum Marks 50 to be conducted with
regular mid term exams as per academic calendar
c. End Term Examination – Maximum Marks 100 to be conducted with
regular end term exams as per academic calendar

2. Experiential Teaching and assessment


a. For First Aid all evaluation as listed below to be carried out on or before
05th Oct 2023.
b. Continuous Internal Assessment: Maximum Marks 50 to be
conducted during/after the workshop, to have 5 components
i. 5 Elements as approved by authorities as per the laid down
procedure for experiential learning assessment.
c. Mid Term Examination – Maximum Marks 50 to be conducted with
regular mid term exams as per academic calendar, as approved by
authorities as per the laid down procedure for experiential learning
assessment
d. End Term Examination – Maximum Marks 100 to be conducted with
regular end term exams as per academic calendar, as approved by
authorities as per the laid down procedure for experiential learning
assessment

Either type of assessment Continuous Internal Assessment may have one element of
faculty assessment for maximum of 10 marks.

Note to Course Coordinator/Lead Resource:


1. Please share details of evaluation to students upfront preferably on the first day
and in first lecture.
2. Green Registers to be maintained
3. ERP to be maintained and will be responsibility of the Course Coordinator/Lead
Resource (it will help ensure that the attendance is recorded on ERP)
4. To ensure compilation, evaluation, uploading of all components of evaluation.

Note to Students:
It is mandatory to attend all four days of Instructor led course workshop.
