1. Schedule of Training
Online training on Design of Building Foundations using Finite Element based
Program CSi SAFE, for students of BE Civil Engineering 4th year 2nd part is co-
curricular additional courses being offered by department of Civil Engineering on
regular basis. Which provided students a brief application-based training to design
Reinforced Concrete foundations of Buildings and other structures.
Training is going to be conducted online using Microsoft Teams application
from 26th Ashoj 2079 to 31st Ashoj 2079 scheduled as below.

Day 1 (26th Ashoj): Installation of CSi SAFE

Introduction and brief working process of software with its tools

Day 2 (27th Ashoj): Design of Isolated Concentric and Eccentric Loading

Day 3 (28th Ashoj): Design of Combine Footing

Day 4(30th Ashoj): Design of Mat Foundation

Day 5(31st Ashoj): Brief Introduction to Pile and Pile cap design,
Evaluation, Discussion and Conclusion of Training
