Operation Procedure:
1. Connect the vacuum pump, gauge manifold and air conditioner as per
the [Connection example] shown below.
2. Confirm with the gauge that it is not under any pressure.
* If any CFC (chlorofluorocarbon) or nitrogen gas enters the vacuum
pump, oil may be blown off from the muffler or
damage may be caused thereby.
3. Confirm that the manifold valve on the high-pressure side is closed and
then switch ON the power of the vacuum pump
and open the vacuum pump valve and the manifold vale on the low-
pressure side.
4. Perform vacuuming for a specified time in accordance with the
instruction manual of the air conditioner manufacturer.
5. Close the low-pressure valve of the manifold, close the vacuum pump
valve and, thereafter, switch OFF the power of the
vacuum pump.
6. Confirm the gauge pressure, leave it for a few minutes and if the gauge
pressure as reconfirmed then shows the same
value as confirmed before, there has been no leakage in the system and
the vacuum operation can be confirmed as
having been completed.
