BUSINESS VOCABULARY 5N

Preface
English has become the language of the Internet, engineering, medicine, professional
training, trade and research. In the global environment, it has become common for non-
native speakers to learn Business English as a specific tool, with the aim of interacting with
English-speaking countries or with companies that use English as a shared language.

One way for a student to learn the language is for them to know vocabularies and learn
how to see them in a situation.

This book focuses on the vocabulary and phrases used throughout the business world and
the communication skills needed in the workplace and business conversation. A sound
grasp of Business English vocabulary enables the students to more effectively and fluently
communicate in English during day to day workplace scenarios, such as presentations,
negotiations, meetings, small talk, socializing, writing reports and CV writing.

This book contains fifteen (15) units which offer a variety of different types of activities,
including traditional ones such as gap-filling, but also more open-ended ones and
personalized activities which enable learners to talk about their own lives.
