o Word document with your response (Minimum 150 words)

Three steps of achieving strategic fit are:

1. Competitive strategy and all functional strategies must work together and create a synchronized
and efficient framework.
2. Companies have multiple sectors that need to be structured to accomplish a cohesive and
successful goal. All their branches, from new product development to marketing and sales,
operations, distributions, and service should be built correctly so that their processes and
resources work together efficiently and productively.
3. Each of these sectors and their contributions needs to be synchronized with the design of the
supply chain to provide strong foundations for the supply chain strategy.

If these steps are not taken correctly, it could cause a company to fail. Companies need to work
towards objectives that are in line with the needs of their customers.

Strategic fit is a concept that brings together the competitive strategy and supply chain strategy. By
merging the capacity of the supply chain and priorities of the customers, a company can work towards
building an efficient and successful base. There are three steps to this process. First, the competitive
strategy and all functional strategies must work together to create a synchronized and efficient
framework. Then the multiple sectors of a company need to be structured to accomplish a cohesive and
successful goal. All their branches, from new product development to marketing and sales, operations,
distributions, and service should be built correctly so that their processes and resources work together
efficiently and productively. Finally, each of these sectors and their contributions need to be
synchronized with the design of the supply chain to provide strong foundations for the supply chain
strategy. If these steps are not taken correctly, it could cause a company to fail. Companies should always
work towards objectives that are in line with the needs of their customers and not expand beyond what
they are capable of.

Attempt #2

strategies to build success. By merging the capacity of the supply chain and the priorities of the

to fail. Companies should always work towards objectives that are in line with the needs of their
customers and not expand beyond what they are capable of.
