Top Tips on how to report online abuse

 Make sure you report the right thing – user, game, post or comment.
 Be specific and provide evidence – explain what happened and attach
screenshots if you can.
 Remember reporting is anonymous. The person who has been reported
will never be told who reported them.
 Always talk to an adult you trust when you make a report, so that they
can support you too!

Reducing the risk of online abuse

 Do not click on unfamiliar links or pop ups


 Look for clues that something might not be okay for you to se. this could
include age, ratings, comments, reviews or content descriptions.
 If you’re unsure, ask a trusted adult to look before you, do.

Responding to an incident

 It’s not your fault that this has happened.


 Stop looking, you can do so by pausing the video, turning the device over
or turning off the device.
 Talk to an adult about what you have seen and how it made you feel.
