PRACTICUM POLICIES CONFORME FORM


The following Hospitality Practicum policies are to be observed by every student officially
enrolled in PRACTICUM I during the entire duration of the practicum period:

1. Trainees are not allowed to enroll any additional course/s with PRACTICUM I units every
regular term.
2. Trainees shall abide by the policies of the University and the College of Tourism and
Hospitality Management in relation to the conduct of the Virtual Practicum Program.
3. Trainees shall abide by the policies of the Industry Partner Establishment and other
Hospitality Institution where they are assigned/ accepted to undergo entrepreneurial
practicum, virtual and HIAP Program.
4. Trainees may be allowed to undergo practicum in the establishment recommended
once they are accepted/endorsed and the requirements are duly complied with.
5. Practicum HTIH may be rendered at a minimum of 600/100 hours or until the
completion of the required final output.
6. As a requirement, a student enrolled in the program must attend the OTW or On the
Web Trainings conducted by either the Partner Industry Establishment or Practicum
Course Facilitators.
7. Trainees are required to attend all briefings, orientations, follow-up meetings and exit
interviews organized by Practicum Course Facilitators.
8. Trainees are not allowed to engage in any illegal, immoral, dishonest, criminal or
political activities while having their virtual practicum.
9. Trainees may not avail of the university’s working scholarship due to the full time
schedule required by the industry training partner.
10. Trainees shall report immediately to the Practicum Course Facilitators any practicum
related issues or concern affecting their performance of required tasks.
11. The Trainees final grade shall be based on the following:
a. Attendance to all required meetings and trainings
b. Completion of the required number of training hours (600 hours) and required final
outputs
c. Submission of progress report, practicum report, evaluation sheets and other required
documents
e. Trainee’s exit interview

Any form of violation of the above policies and violation of the PPS 1027 of the student
handbook and all other related acts committed which are not stated in these policies and which
do not conform with the University of Santo Tomas STUDENT POLICIES shall be subject to
appropriate disciplinary action by the UST-CTHM Student Welfare and Development Board
(SWDB).
