Introduction

 Radios should be tuned to ensure that its


performance meets the manufacturing
specifications.
 MOTOTRBO Tuner is used to tune the radio’s
SOFTware-controlled POTentiometer (SOFTPOT)
values.
 Accurate measurements are obtained byy adjusting

the SOFTPOT values in the MOTOTRBO Tuner
application.

Setting up a Replacement Board


 When a new replacement board is detected by the tuner
while it reads the radio, the tuner will prompt you to enter a
serial

proceed to tune the radio.
 Steps to enter new serial number:
1. Enter the serial number into the dialog box.
2. Click OK.
3. A message box is displayed. Read the message
carefully as you are allowed to enter the serial number
of a blank board once only
only.
4. Click YES to confirm.
