Before we proceed to the next lesson, you as a student nurse, what are your top two (2)

traditional teaching strategies that you consider effective for learning? Please explain
briefly for not more than 200 words.
A tried-and-true technique of transferring knowledge and information to pupils is through
lectures. It enables the teacher to impart knowledge, clarify ideas, and offer illustrations and
demonstrations. The Socratic Method is a dialogue-based teaching strategy that encourages
analytical thought, active involvement, and critical thinking. In order to engage students
thinking and motivate them to examine concepts, weigh arguments, and defend their own
perspectives, the instructor must pose challenging questions. It works especially well in fields
like philosophy, law, and ethics where critical analysis and interpretation are essential. The
most effective strategy is frequently a blend of multiple strategies that are suited to the
particular setting because different teaching approaches perform better for different subjects,
student preferences, and learning objectives.
