Tak lama kemudian, ibu dari kedua anak itu kembali ingin
menghampiri di luar rumah tapi ia tak mendapati satupun dari
kedua anaknya. Ia mencari ke seluruh sudut rumahnya tapi tak
didapatinya juga. Hal tersebut membuatnya cemas dan
khawatir. Ia pun keluar dari rumah seraya meminta tolong

continued playing. Not long after, his mother came out to them
and invited him to enter the house but both of them still
preferred to play. Their mother shook her head while leaving
her two children who were still playing. From a distance, it
turned out that grandmother Pakande was watching the two
children. After the situation was quiet and nobody passed
around the house, grandmother Pakande approached the two
children and took them away.
The next day, she also reported losing her baby. The baby
suddenly vanished when he fell asleep all night. The people
were increasingly troubled by the incident. In the evening,
people became worried and could not sleep well to look after
their children from kidnapping allegedly carried out by
grandmother Pakande.
"I want to take the baby inside this room. Who are you?"
answered grandmother Pakande. "I am Raja Bangkung Pitu
Reppe Rawo Ale. I want you to leave here because you have
disturbed the villagers, "he said again. "Ahh, I don't believe if
you are the giant Raja Bangkung Pitu Reppe Rawo Ale"
answered grandmother Pakande without fear while stepping
closer to the door of the room where the baby was. La Beddu
spilled a bucket of soapy foam resembling a giant saliva and
made a roaring sound "I'm hungry, look at my saliva flowing. If
you don't leave here soon then you will be my meal tonight".

Ambo Upe tak menyangka sama sekali jika burung beo itu
akan membalas budi begitu besar terhadapnya. Ia hanya sekali
menyelamatkan burung beo itu, namun berulangkali burung
beo itu menyelamatkannya dari bahaya yang mengancam
jiwanya. Ambo Upe sangat berterima kasih kepada burung beo
peliharaannya itu. Ia pun berjanji untuk menyayangi hewan-
hewan lainnya, karena hewan pun sesungguhnya bisa
membalas budi jika mendapat perlakuan yang baik. Seperti
yang ditunjukkan burung beo peliharaannya itu.

A few days later, Ambo Upe only knew out if the baby bird
being cared for was a parrot. As time went on, the parrot
became tame to Ambo Upe. Although it’s not the cage, he did
not fly far. Often he perched on Ambo's shoulder Upe if he was
sitting resting. If Ambo Upe shepherded his buffaloes, the
parrot always joined him.
One day, Ambo Upe fell asleep while feeding his buffalo. A
poisonous snake crawled towards Ambo Upe, a parrot who
knew there was a danger threatening Ambo Upe to act
immediately. He swiftly pecked at the snake's eyes. The
poisonous snake writhed its body in pain before moving away
from the place. The parrot flapped its wings near Ambo Upe's

At one time, there was a long dry season. The grass in the
pasture dries. Ambo Upe intended to feed his buffaloes on the
edge of the forest where there is still a lot of green grass. The
other herders did not dare to herd pastures in that place
because the area was a vulnerable area. The forest was often
used as a hideout for robbers.
Ambo Upe's father and others agreed to look for where the
two robbers were. However, they felt confused where to go.
Suddenly the parrot flew near Ambo Upe and motioned for
Ambo Upe to follow him. People finally followed the direction
of the parrot flying into the forest. Moments later, they found a
cave. They lurk carefully and sound buffalo.

Upe felt happy, after the fish was lifted to the edge of the river.
When he was about to put it in the container, La Upe was
surprised. The fish suddenly speaks like a human.
No one can release the princess from the door of the room.
Now the remaining one participant is La Upe. He then walked
into the palace approaching the princess. La Upe then read the
magic mantra. Miraculously, the king's daughter escaped from
the door of the room. The entire audience was surprised to see
the incident. Everyone is amazed, including the king and the
empress. They are married.
Bagian 6
The next day, I Laurang also met his mother to convey his
wishes. "Oh, father, mother ... I am an adult and want to get
married. I will marry with the King's daughter" he said.
Immediately his father was shocked and said "Wah, why do
you have such a big desire, my son". "That right my son. Is it
possible for the king to accept you as his son-in-law? " Added
his Mother.

At one time, the chicken flew over the areca tree and stood
on top of it. And every time a boat passes by, the chicken kept
crowing, "kukkuruyuuk, where is my husband, I Laurang? The
boat is called white flower "that was what the chicken always
does, if there was a boat pass it, the chicken crowed asking for
I Laurang and his boat.
81
When the boat they were riding in arrived at the port, the
entire family of the palace came to greet I Laurang. The six of
youngest sisters were happy to see I Laurang has returned.
82
After the chest opened, the six daughters of the King was
surprised, it turned out that the contents of the chest were the
youngest daughter they thought had died. Therefore, they ran
scattered in shame at their sister and also I Laurang.

"You join us to the palace to face the King," said the guard.
"Sorry! Why were we told to go to the King? What is our fault,
sir" the older brother asked with a pale face. "Sorry, but we
only carry out the task," replied the guard.
"Pardon me sir! What's the matter, sir, why do you call us?
"said the older brother while looking down. "I heard your
conversation last night. Is that right, what you say? "The king
asked. The both of the girls were getting scared and then
glanced at each other. "You don't need to be afraid. Answer
honestly, "said the king.
"Thank you! You have healed me. If I may know where are
you from and who are your parents? asked the king. Hearing
that question, Lamaddukelleng only paused for a moment.
"I'm sorry for your situation! Hopefully you will find your
parents later, "said the king. "Thank you, sir" said
Lamaddukelleng. "maid! Please serve the young man well
"commanded the king.
One night, the king was pensive in the foyer of the palace
imagining the story of decades ago when his wife reportedly
gave birth to a cat. Suddenly he felt something strange was
happening. "Is it true that my wife gave birth to a cat? Ah, it's
impossible for a human to give birth to a cat. Even at that time
no one witnessed it other than his wife's sister who helped her
give birth, "he thought.
"Why does the king call us both. Does he have known all of
our actions a few years ago?" she said to her husband. "I don't
know my wife" said her husband anxiously.
"That’s ... right sir" she replied nervously. "Is that right
then? answer honestly, "said the king urgently. "Forgive me sir.
I and my husband have been guilty. We have exchanged the
king's son with a cat. Forgive me, please do not law us” she
said begging.
The king ordered the palace guards to free his wife and
call Lamaddukelleng to face him. After gathering, the king told
the true incident to his wife and son. The king immediately
hugged Lamaddukelleng, who was replied by him with a tight
hug. The wife just fell silent while staring at her husband and
her child who were embracing with emotion. Soon, the king
immediately embraced his wife.

Sepakbola Binatang
“Hei sapi, kalian pindah dari tempat ini, rumput ini bagian
kami” seru seekor kerbau. “Kami tidak mau. Kita datang ke
tempat ini bersamaan jadi kami juga berhak makan disini”
jawab seekor sapi. Akhirnya mereka saling mendorong dan
terjadilah perkelahian karena tidak ada yang mau mengalah.
Para binatang yang datang mencari makan di padang rumput
itu bersorai memberi semnagat yang membuat perkelahian
semakin sengit antara si sapi dan si kerbau. Mereka saling
menyundul dengan tanduk dan mendorong dengan sekuat
tenaga yang membuat segerombolan sapi itu sesekali

Animal Football
"Hey cows, you move from this place, this grass is our
area" exclaimed a buffalo. "We don't want to. We come to this
place together, so we also have the right to eat here" answered
a cow. Finally they pushed each other and there was a fight
because no one wanted to budge. The animals that came
looking for food in the meadow were stained giving the spirit
that makes fights increasingly fierce between the cows and the
buffaloes. They headed each other with horns and pushed with
all their might which makes a bunch of cows occasionally give
out loud noises. "Moooohhhh .......... !!!"
141
The fight lasted until noon and the fight was still a draw,
no one had lost and won. Suddenly a lion, the King of the
Forest, emerged from behind a thicket of shrubs beside the
meadow. He also roared "Auuuuuuuuuuuunnggg ……………. !!!
hey stop fighting, "the lion exclaimed angrily.
After the match lasted for several days, finally the horse,
elephant, buffalo and cow team made it into the semifinals. In
the first semifinal, the horse team faced off with the cow team.
Unfortunately, the horse team seemed to lack enthusiasm
because the day before their king had died of age. Finally the
match was won by a cow team and made it into the final
round.
The next day, the elephant team faced the buffalo team.
When the match will begin, heavy rain made the grassland

teams undress. They also competed without clothes
accompanied by cheers from the audience. The referee blew
his whistle as a sign the match will be began. The match was

dribbling. It's been a few minutes, but the match is still a draw,
no one has scored a goal against the opponent.

mother was very shocked. It turned out that the one brought
home by La Tongko-tongko was a corpse and had begun to
emit a foul odor.
"Why do you bring the dead to the house, take it out and
bury it," shouted his mother. "Why did you say she was dead?"
Asked La Tongko-tongko. "That's because he smells bad." His
mother answered. "So, if someone has foul smell, is it a sign
that he is dead?" Asked La Tongko-tongko. "Yes. Hurry up and
bring it and bury a little away from home! "His mother
immediately answered.
The first night in his grave, there was a thief who wanted
to steal mango. The thief immediately climbed then picked the
mango and put it in the sack. But because of the rush, the
plucked mango fell and hit onto La Tongko-tongko's head.
"You are lucky, mango. If I hadn't died, I would have eaten, "La

“You are stupid. It's not wrong if you are called La Tongko-
tongko because you are a very stupid person. "The thief said
again.
“Never mind, leave here. People who are still alive should
not talk to dead people, "La Tongko-tongko said. "No, you
haven't died. The dead cannot speak. You better come with me,
"said the thief while pulling the head of La Tongko-tongko.
"You are fool! Tell me, tonight we will steal again in the
next village. I'll wait here in the middle of the night, "said the
thief. "Yes alright. Tonight I will come, "La Tongko-tongko said.
remote and far from other homes. The house was occupied by
two women and an old man. But this afternoon the old man
died and the two women were lazy to bury his body.
"Just put the body into a sack and fill it with broken glass.
If there is a thief passing, he will take it, "said the older woman.
"Go to the veranda Tongko, I see a sack there. You shake it; if it
sounds bring the sack here" said the thief.
"The dead person we put in the sack has been taken by the
thief," the woman whispered. "Hey, throw the sack, it is not
ringgit but the dead" La Tongko-tongko shouted.
Finally the two men parted ways. The thief went west,
while La Tongko-tongko headed south and returned to his
house. Since then, they have not met again.
