Admission requirements: Admission of national students to short and first cycle degree programmes is centralised and based on a nationwide one/two-stage Aydın Adnan Menderes University, State University
examination(s) conducted by an autonomous public body (Assessment, Selection and Placement Centre-ÖSYM). Candidates gain access to institutions of higher
education based on their composite scores consisting of the scores on the selection examination and their high school grade point averages. Admission to graduate 2.4 Name and status of institution (if different from 2.3) administering studies
programmes is directly conducted by the higher education institutions (HEIs) within the frameworks of the publicly available national and institutional regulations. Same as 2.3
Admission of international students to programmes at all levels of higher education can be done by direct applications of candidates to HEIs based on publicly

Turkish National Qualifications Frameworks: The National Qualifications Framework for Higher Education in Turkey (TQF-HE, TYYÇ in Turkish) developed English
with reference to the QF for European Higher Education Area and the EQF for lifelong learning was adopted by the CoHE in 2010. Later in 2015, the framework

Objectives: English Language Teaching is a programme which aims to educate prospective the teachers of
English working in schools varying from kindergarden to universities. The aims is to educate qualified teachers
who are aware of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor development characteristics of their students; and are
able to analyse attitudes, skills and potential of students.
Key Learning Programme Outcomes: Students apply methods and techniques of instructional strategies
104624 relevant to developmental characteristics and learning outcomes of subject matter. Students define, criticize
and solve issues of classroom teaching. Students will be professionally up-to-date in terms of contemporary
issues. Students apply basic knowledge of classroom teaching. Students understand social and universal
impacts of his/her profession.
Graduation Requirements: A student must complete 240 ECTS credits and is required to have a minimum
Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.0 out of 4.0 with no failing grades.
